Therapy has changed, and thankfully so. The old idea of spilling your heart out to someone who feels distant, judgmental, or out of touch does not work anymore. So let’s not do that.
I’m Jessica Milgrome, a licensed mental health clinician with 15 years of experience, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and a National Certified Counselor. I work with women navigating anxiety, overthinking, emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, burnout, and major life transitions.
My approach is modern, direct, and judgment-free. Therapy with me is a real conversation. No awkward silence. No walking on eggshells. No wondering if you said the wrong thing. We talk openly, focus on what actually helps, and skip techniques that do not fit your real life.
Sessions can be video or phone. If video feels too intense some days, that is okay. Therapy should feel supportive, practical, and human.
To share a bit about myself, I’m a big fan of stand-up comedy because laughing really is life. I look forward to Mondays for Spotify’s Discover Weekly playlists and live by the mantra, “When words fail, let the music speak.” I also share my life with six dogs.
I’m here to help you organize your thoughts, build confidence, set boundaries you can keep, and move forward feeling clearer and more grounded.
Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California. I received my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of Southern California. I also have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cal State University Northridge. I have a extensive history with over 15 years of experience working with adults 18 and over with various mental health diagnoses. My approach to therapy is a warm, collaborative style rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and strengths-based practices. I like to create a safe and supportive environment for my clients to have a place to express their thoughts and feelings.
Hi, I’m Beverly and I began seeing psychotherapy clients in January, 1999. I have long term, varied experience providing therapy in multiple settings, including private practice, online platforms, Kaiser Permanente department of psychiatry, outpatient clinics, Hospice, inpatient medical detox, and various school and university settings. I am also a Chopra certified meditation instructor.
Currently, I work primarily with high functioning, high insight adult individuals in private practice, focusing on women’s issues, healthy relationship dynamics and skills, mind/body healing, and personal development and empowerment.
I take an individually focused approach, created in partnership with each client, utilizing creativity, often image/metaphor, symbolic dream work and integrated somatic focus. I love to share the gifts gained as a Chopra instructor as well, to those interested in utilizing meditation. My aim is to create a safe, supportive, understanding space and for you to consistently leave feeling significantly better!
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that something isn't OK right now. That something might be new, or it might have been around a long time. You might be able to describe it perfectly, or you might just feel off without knowing why. Either way — you're here, and that's the only thing that matters right now.
I start from wherever you are. No assumptions, no judgments, no one-size-fits-all approach. Just a genuine desire to understand you — what's brought you here, what you're carrying, and what you're hoping for.
Therapy with me — whether you're coming alone or with a partner — tends to be honest and occasionally even a little lighthearted. The human experience isn't black and white, and neither is the work we'll do together. What stays consistent is that you'll have a space that belongs to you, where nothing you say or feel changes how I show up for you.
For couples, that space belongs to both of you equally. I don't take sides. What I do is help you see the pattern you're both caught in — because most of the time it's the cycle doing the damage, not each other. When that shifts, something else becomes possible.
No matter what it is you are navigating — depression, relationships, identity, or the gap between how you show up and how you actually feel inside — you don't have to have it figured out to reach out.
Grow Therapy Badges: “Thriver,” “Top Provider,” “Often Rebooked” (Top 0.25% in Quality of Care)
I bring both professional knowledge and lived experience to my work as a therapist. Living with a Bipolar I diagnosis has given me firsthand insight into the challenges of navigating mental health systems, stigma, and the ways these experiences can affect identity, relationships, and everyday life. This perspective allows me to meet each client with empathy, genuine curiosity, and respect for the meaning they make of their experiences. I am a shamanic clinician, which has been largely shaped and inspired by experiences with what’s often referred to as mania or psychosis.
Perception is central to my therapeutic approach. Our histories, emotions, environments, and nervous-system states can all influence what we notice, how we interpret events, and how we respond. By exploring these patterns without judgment, I help clients expand their awareness, consider new perspectives, and develop greater choice in how they relate to themselves and the world around them.
My professional experience includes psychiatric residential treatment, addiction medicine, youth detention, and private practice. I integrate somatic and sensory-based approaches (including brainspotting, meditation, drumming, sound therapy, aromatherapy, guided visualization, and shamanic-inspired practices) to support emotional processing and nervous-system regulation. I also emphasize nature, nutrition, sleep hygiene, and other foundations of whole-person wellness.
From Grow Therapy's Leadership:
"Based on your exceptional client engagement and outstanding care, you’ve officially qualified as a 2026 Grow Therapy Thriver! 🎉 (roughly 700 out of 25,000+ providers)
This recognition reflects the meaningful relationships you build with clients from the start and the trust you inspire through your work. Becoming a Thriver places you among a select group of providers who set the tone for excellence across the Grow platform. We’re honored to celebrate this milestone with you."
Hi! My name is Tomer, I'm a Psychotherapist based in Los Angeles, and I have been working in the field of psychology for the past 8 years.
I graduated from California State University Northridge with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and furthered my education at Antioch University- Los Angeles, where I obtained a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy.
I’ve had the privilege of working with different demographics in a wide range of therapeutic environments. I’ve worked with teens in the high school setting, with individuals struggling with substance abuse and eating disorders, as well as patients with depression, anxiety, low self esteem, trauma, toxic relationships, and co-dependency. As part of my private practice, I provide therapy to both individuals and couples online. I combine the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Humanistic approach in my practice. With that said, I tailor the methods I use in treatment to each client's specific needs.
My goal is to cultivate an authentic human connection with my clients by creating a safe and comfortable space for them to explore their underlying issues, promoting growth and change, in order to improve their quality of life.
Welcome, I’m Sam Moglen, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing therapy for individuals throughout California and Florida via online sessions. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by grief, anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Therapy can help you feel more grounded, more connected, and more at ease in your daily life. My approach is warm, collaborative, and attuned to your nervous system. I integrate EMDR, somatic therapy, and nervous system-based approaches to help you process difficult experiences and shift patterns that no longer serve you. Rather than just talking about problems, we’ll gently work with both your thoughts and your body’s responses so you can experience lasting change, not just temporary relief.
My name is Dr. Perynn D'Alba and I am a clinical psychologist. I enjoy working with clients who are ready to make changes. These can be big or small, this is your life and your time, I am here to help you figure out what isn't working quite right. I enjoy being creative in my interventions and really figuring out what will work best for you. I use humor where appropriate because it can be an important intervention and give space to dig deeper. I have had various jobs in my life in quite a few different fields but the common thread was that I enjoy empowering others and helping people figure out what they want and how to get that.
Are you feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of who you are becoming?
Life transitions, relationship struggles, anxiety, grief, identity questions, and existential pain can leave us feeling overwhelmed or lost. Therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself in a deeper way.
I help individuals of all ages better understand the unconscious patterns that shape their emotions, relationships, and sense of self. Together, we explore what may be keeping you stuck, uncover deeper meaning in your experiences, and create space for healing, growth, and lasting change.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in Depth Psychology and Integrative Healing Practices, I offer a holistic approach that honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit. I believe each person carries an innate capacity for healing, and therapy can help bring that inner wisdom forward. My role is to support you with compassion and insight as you move toward greater clarity, authenticity, and wholeness.
I started helping those who are seeking to up-level their experiences and shine as their true and authentic selves in 2019. My journey first started in residential treatment facilities where I held space for those in early recovery from substance use disorders. This population ranged from men's only, women's only and LGBTQ+ Many of these individuals also struggled with anxiety, depression, trauma and eating disorders. I have also had the opportunity to work with adolescents at risk of sex trafficking. This work is extremely rewarding as the clients are at an age where they are most influential and willing.
I am a deeply spiritual person and practice in the study of yoga and meditation and participate in somatic healings such as Kundalini Light Intergration (KALI) and breathworks. I am also a level two Reiki practitioner (training to become a master) and a certified personal trainer. When I am not holding space for healing, I enjoy being in the outdoors, surfing, climbing, reading and cooking nutritious and fun to eat meals. I hope to continue the journey of providing a safe space for individuals where healing can occur for years to come.
I offer sessions both early in the morning (5am - 7am) and later in the evening (6pm - 9pm) to accommodate those who work nine to five or those who just prefer early morning or evening therapy sessions.
I am a board-certified Music Therapist and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 14 years of experience, serving clients across California and Colorado. My own journey informs my work: I grew up in California and built a successful business before transitioning my life to Colorado. I then spent two years as a digital nomad—traveling by car across the US and living abroad for 1.5 years—all while managing and growing my business. I understand how to maintain excellence while in motion, and I use an IFS-informed somatic and creative approach to help you find that same internal groundedness and freedom.
My name is Nikki, I’m a therapist with seven years of experience, specializing in helping clients address anxiety, depression, and trauma. Using EMDR and a personalized approach, I guide clients in overcoming limiting beliefs and building resilience for a more empowered, fulfilling life.
Together, we can navigate life's obstacles, build resilience, and rediscover your inner strength. Taking that first step toward healing is an act of courage, and I’m here to provide the empathy and support you need along the way.
Hi! I'm Wen. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I help adults who are struggling to deal with everyday stressors and burnout. I empathetically listen to what you have to share and want to fully understand your situation before working collaboratively on solutions. I consider myself a direct person and try to break down the concepts that I teach into easily understood ideas.
Life is weird, and having help can help.
As a therapist, I tend to be both challenging and supportive. I am focused on real and genuine relationships with folks that help people choose how to define their goals in terms of what is important to them. I care a lot about the people who work with me, and I think that comes across in my relationships. As I am sure you can see via the Grow reviews, I am honest and direct, qualities I find many people appreciate in a therapeutic relationship but I also understand those are not for everyone.
Therapy can also be hard work, but that doesn't mean it has to be a hard time. I've been in the field long enough to know how normal having problems is. The people I work with appreciate that therapy can be a place to laugh, cry, and sometimes both at the same time.
In terms of modalities, a lot of the work I do centers on the therapeutic relationship, with elements of narrative work, CBT, person-centered therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and general talk therapy.
I don't use Grow's AI transcription, and I didn't use AI to write this, if that is important to you to know.

I offer a space where your pain can soften, your story can unfold gently, and you can be met with warmth and compassion without judgment. Hi, I’m Kimberly, a licensed trauma therapist providing trauma-informed EMDR therapy for WOMEN struggling with anxiety, trauma, and grief.
Many of the clients I work with are high-functioning on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally stuck on the inside. I specialize in EMDR therapy, nervous-system–informed care, and trauma-focused treatment, helping clients process past experiences safely while building emotional regulation and resilience in the present. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and paced, with a strong emphasis on stabilization, safety, and lasting change.

Hi my name is Jazmin. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping people who need guidance coping with stress, trauma, substance abuse, and troubling thoughts. My therapeutic style is working collaboratively with you and empowering you to change your unwanted feelings and behaviors. Let's work together to uncover what is holding you back from being your best self.
Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you were taught to handle things on your own, prioritize your family, or keep difficult emotions to yourself. Maybe you’ve spent a lot of time being the “strong one,” trying to meet expectations, or figuring out how to balance who you are with who you’re expected to be. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, make sense of those experiences, and reconnect with yourself.
I’m a Punjabi-American Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing virtual therapy throughout California. I believe healing begins when we feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative space where you can show up as you are, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.
I’m especially passionate about supporting adult children of immigrants as they navigate cultural identity, family expectations, relationships, boundaries, and major life transitions. I also work with adolescents (13+), adults, couples, and families from all backgrounds who are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, family dynamics, and life stressors.
As a Punjabi-American therapist, I understand how culture, family values, and generational experiences can shape the way we understand ourselves and our relationships. I approach this work with curiosity rather than blame, helping you explore the patterns and beliefs that have shaped you while identifying what you want to carry forward, and what you may want to do differently.
You don’t have to know exactly what you need before starting therapy. Sometimes, the first step is simply giving yourself permission to explore what’s been weighing on you. Wherever you are in that process, I’m here to meet you there.

I provide a warm and welcoming space, free of judgements and bias. I am here to meet you right where you are because some seasons of life can be more challenging that others. I firmly believe that having a safe space to explore your thoughts openly can bring so much healing and growth. I will both, work with you and challenge you when needed. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist I have built my career and experience on working to support children, teens, couples and adults. I have shifted gears to working primarily with adults in an individual setting to reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, and traumas while supporting life transitions. My clientele is made up of a mix of individuals facing challenges in life with adjusting to changes in life stages, experiencing overwhelming emotions and needing some help in building coping and balance with life's stressors, and those wanting to improve communication skills to achieve their relationship goals. If you are experiencing a life transition of any kind (career change, divorce, growing a family, struggling with grief and loss, being part of the sandwich generation -caring for aging parents while navigating into learning boundaries of parenting adult children, or a boomerang kid- -moved out and enjoyed independence from home, but life circumstances brought you back to your childhood home) I am here to help work through those challenges. If you've experienced trauma of sexual assault or suppressed sexual abuse for so long and see that it is now showing up and impacting your relationships and responses to the world around you- feeling fearful, difficulty trusting others, people pleasing, or feel like you have to wear a mask to get through daily life and keep things hidden, we will work at your pace.

Emotions are the language of energy. In this language, there are critical messages to be understood. Emotions communicate what your needs are. Your mind translates this information so that needs can be met. Sometimes, it feels unsafe to acknowledge your emotions so the intellect, instead, pushes emotions down. With emotions silenced, you become deprived of connection to yourself, to others and needs go unmet. In this deprivation, you also lose authenticity. The call to acknowledgement returns, again and again, louder and louder.
We can collaborate together to learn this language and to recover the gold of your authentic self. Its already there, where it has always been. Who you really are is full of potential, courageous, confident and quite worthy of connection. When you know this, there is an energy that arises as well. A motivation for action.
Wherever you are at on this journey, is where I want to meet you. What a victory that you have already taken the brave step of searching for a therapist. Celebrate that. Perhaps the next movement is to reach out. We can explore next incremental steps from there.

Welcome - I'm glad you're here. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker inspiring hope and facilitating change in the lives of individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. For over 18 years, I have provided psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families in California. A Los Angeles native, in 2007 I graduated with my Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California.
My path to becoming a person-centered therapist has been shaped by a deep belief in the healing power of human connection. From early on, I was drawn to listening—to really hearing people—and witnessing the strength that can emerge when someone feels truly understood. That belief led me to social work, where I found a natural alignment with the values of empathy, dignity, and respect for each person’s lived experience.
Through my training and clinical work, I was especially moved by the person-centered approach, which sees the client not as a problem to be fixed, but as a whole person with the capacity for growth, insight, and change. Embracing this approach has transformed the way I see the therapeutic relationship: not as a space where I give answers, but one where I hold space—with care, compassion, and authenticity—so clients can explore, heal, and move forward on their own terms.
Over time, I’ve continued to grow both personally and professionally, integrating complementary tools like CBT and Solution-Focused Therapy while always staying grounded in the person-centered core. It’s a privilege to walk alongside my clients, to witness their resilience, and to be a steady presence as they reconnect with their strengths, values, and goals.
Being a therapist isn’t just what I do—it’s part of who I am.

Have you ever felt like you were busy doing all the things you thought would bring you a happy life, yet felt alone and disconnected from yourself and others?
These feelings are often when people turn to alcohol, drugs, food, shopping or relationships to try to create those feelings of happiness, contentment and joy. It can work for a short time however the key to moving forward is to understand the reasons we seek out these distractions.
When we strengthen the relationship with ourselves, the outer world becomes much more balanced and fulfilling. Through slowing down and reconnecting with our mind, body and spirit we can feel more confident to face life events with a more stable and hopeful core sense of self.
I specialize in treating relationship issues, addiction/substance abuse, depression, anxiety, job related issues, couples treatment and divorce recovery

I bring this understanding into every session, honoring each person’s story and meeting them where they are.
Clients often describe me as thoughtful, caring, creative, and reliable, with a calm and steady presence.
I take a relaxed approach to therapy, and you lead the way. In our first session, we'll start with a quick hello and get to know each other. Then we'll talk about a few of the challenges you're facing. I'll ask open questions and listen closely so I can understand what matters most to you. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a warm, transparent, and down to earth approach to therapy. I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up exactly as you are without feeling judged or like you have to say the “right” thing. I’m genuine and interactive in sessions, and I use humor when appropriate because therapy can address difficult things while still feeling human and relatable.
I work with individuals and couples who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, boundaries, self-esteem, attachment, or patterns that seem to keep repeating. One of my strengths as a therapist is helping clients recognize those patterns and understand not only what they are doing, but why they may be doing it. Together, we look at where those patterns came from, how they may have helped you at one point, and whether they are still serving you today.
My approach is collaborative, supportive, and direct. I’m not the type of therapist who will simply sit back and nod for an hour. I’ll listen, ask questions, offer another perspective, challenge you when it may be helpful, and celebrate the progress you make along the way. I incorporate approaches such as CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, attachment-based work, and IFS concepts depending on your individual needs.
Whether you’re trying to build healthier relationships, strengthen boundaries, better understand yourself, navigate a difficult transition, or finally break a pattern you’re tired of repeating, my goal is to help you develop greater insight and make changes that actually feel meaningful and sustainable in your everyday life.

I am here to help you pick up and carry on when you don’t feel able. I provide a safe space for you to be yourself until you feel strong enough to make whatever changes you need to make.

I am a licensed clinical social worker in a private practice in San Francisco. My psychotherapy practice is primarily focused on helping people who are struggling with the effects of trauma, PTSD, relationship stress, life transitions, depression, anxiety, substance use and addiction. My public clinical work primarily focuses on people who are struggling with the effects of substance use, grief, trauma, psychosis and major medical complications.
I have expertise in working with people who have a current or past history with drug & alcohol use and recognize that substance use may result from different psychological, social and biological factors that are unique to each person. I also focus on working with people who have loved ones who are at the mercy of the drug and alcohol use and are looking for ongoing support. I see drug & alcohol use as a way of coping with challenges that we face throughout life and use a non judgmental, harm reduction and trauma informed approach to our work.
Suffering and healing are impacted by our past, our present and deeply intertwined with our environments. I find importance in developing an understanding of your perspective, how you relate to others, internalize experiences, find solutions to problems and make meaning out of these ideas.
My approach to therapy is grounded in psychodynamic training which facilitates self-exploration and healing. I believe the power of therapy lies in improving your relationship to the world, the people close to you, and ultimately to yourself.

Hi, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I received my Bachelor's in Psychology and Sociology at the University of Washington, as well as my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at Chapman University. My goal is to help you identify your aspirations, overcome obstacles, and develop strategies to achieve your true potential.
Hi, I'm Dani, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working with high performers, athletes, teens, and adults.
My practice starts with an honest audit of your values. Not the ones you think you should have, the ones you actually matter to you. From there, we explore identity: who you are, what you stand for, and where the gap sits between that person and the goals you've been chasing. That gap is where burnout quietly takes root, especially when your motivation comes from external factors rather than internal ones.
I also walk with clients through grief and loss, because performance and emotional pain often coexist, and both deserve space.
In session, you'll get warmth, honesty, non-judgment, and humor. I'll validate your story, then warmly, move us from talking about it to taking action. Insight alone doesn't change a life. Together we'll focus on what's actually within your control and build a life by your own design. You don't need to have anything figured out when you arrive. All are welcome here.

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) currently eligible to see Telehealth clients in California and Florida. I have been practicing Holistic Psychotherapy in my private practice for 7 years specializing in Hypnotherapy and trauma resolution. I assist adults to navigate life transitions such as grief, heartbreak, career changes, healing from trauma or outdated versions of themselves, so they can feel more free and present in everyday life.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. I believe in meeting you where you are and working together at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I have experience supporting adults through challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, and employment-related challenges. I draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on your needs, while keeping our work personal and realistic. Most importantly, I want you to feel that you have a safe space to be honest, process what you’re going through, and work toward meaningful change.
I help high-achieving adults who seem to have it all together. They have promotions, busy schedules, and always say, "I'm fine," but still feel anxious, tense, or quietly worn out. You might be the person everyone counts on. Maybe your life looks impressive from the outside, but it leaves you feeling drained inside.
My approach is direct, approachable, and warm. I ask honest questions, share what I notice, and avoid vague therapy language. You don’t have to put on a front or worry about my feelings during our sessions. Together, we’ll figure out what’s really behind your anxiety, such as perfectionism, taking on too much, fear of falling behind, people-pleasing, or burnout, and practice real skills you can use right away.
I also help with trauma and depression, even when it doesn’t look like the usual idea of "struggling." Sometimes, what seems like anxiety is actually a nervous system that’s been on high alert for a long time. It’s important to understand this, not just try to manage it.
I draw on psychodynamic and psychoanalytic therapy to help us understand how your patterns started and why they continue. I also use CBT to give you practical tools you can use now. I’m trained in Brainspotting (Phase 1), which can help when anxiety or tension shows up in your body and talking hasn’t helped enough. I help high-achieving adults who seem to have it all together. They have promotions, busy schedules, and always say, "I'm fine," but still feel anxious, tense, or quietly worn out. You might be the person everyone counts on. Maybe your life looks impressive from the outside, but it leaves you feeling drained inside..
Hi, I'm Kaytee, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked in a variety of setting including homeless encampments, maximum security county jail, behavioral health court, and one on one therapy. Across all of these settings I have found the human experience, at its core, to be universal. I have also found that a large percentage of human suffering comes from the meaning or story we take away from experiences and how we use this an information to self-evaluate and decide how we think and feel.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly two decades of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I believe therapy is an opportunity to better understand yourself, explore the experiences that have shaped you, and create meaningful change.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and directive when helpful. I value honesty, kindness, and genuine connection. I’ll listen without judgment, ask thoughtful questions, and offer insight and guidance to help you recognize patterns, gain new perspectives, and explore new ways of responding to life’s challenges.
I draw from several evidence-based and insight-oriented approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS) Parts Work, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I tailor our work to your unique experiences and goals, helping you understand how past experiences and relationships may influence your present thoughts, emotions, and connections with others.
You may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or uncertain about what comes next. You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin. My goal is to help you feel understood while also encouraging self-reflection, new perspectives, and meaningful growth. Together, we can work toward greater self-awareness, healthier relationships, and a more fulfilling life.
One detail I’d keep is the phrase “help you feel understood while also encouraging self-reflection.” It captures the balance you’ve described between being compassionate and kind while also being honest, thoughtful, and directive when it benefits the client.

I’m not a sit-back-and-nod type of therapist -- I love to collaborate with my clients to meet their goals and see them move past beliefs and/or patterns that have haunted them for many years. That being said, I show up as a grounded and collaborative therapist with an experiential approach.
Outside of therapy, I am a wife, new(ish) mom, sister/daughter, musician, crafter, ADHD-er, and the occasional "world traveler". I was born and raised in Sacramento to Slavic immigrant parents. I am fluent in Russian and Ukrainian, and also provided therapy services in those languages.
I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist with fifteen years of experience working with adolescents, adults and seniors. Fundamentally, I am an Interpersonal Therapist, my approach is client-centered and solution-focused, while the main modalities that I use in my practice are Dialectical Behavior Therapy and ACT. I specialize in working with adults and older adults in recovery from substance abuse/addiction, adjusting to changes in physical health, relationships, grief and end-of-life. I firmly believe that everybody has innate worth and potential to discover, recover, and heal, which is enhanced and refined within the safety of a non-judgmental therapeutic relationship. As a therapist, I offer you my reflection, understanding, perspective, evidence-based interventions and patience while we process your thoughts, emotions and sensations together
My name is Chloe Melka - LPCC and I am the founder and clinician of a trauma-informed private practice. I help women in California with sexual and relationship trauma break free from survival mode, stop repeating painful relationship patterns, and build the kind of healthy, secure love you deserve. I work with high functioning individuals experiencing burnout, anxiety, and a lack of professional/personal balance.
I approach therapy collaboratively and from a relational perspective. Simply put, I meet people where they are and from there, we work together to discover solutions that work by utilizing evidence-based tools from a variety of approaches (CBT, ACT, EMDR, polyvagal theory).
My personal style is compassionate, grounded in authentic connection, and infused with warmth and humor.
As a veteran therapist in my 70s, I've helped hundreds get to where they want to go. I'll come along side you - not as a sage on the stage but a guide on the side. We'll work together to explore where you've been, where you are, and where you want to go - at your pace, in your style, on your own terms. I provide a free 15-minute consultation to see if we're a good fit. I specialize in working with adults navigating through grief, failures, losses, depression, anxietym betrayals, uncertainties, setbacks, traumas, etc. I customize our sessions to your needs and wants (integrating client-centered, DBT, ACT, experiential, solution focused, and narrative modalities, from a faith-based perspective if desired). One of my life's mottos is "to see the best and to bring out the best in others." We'll explore and build on your strengths as we work towards moving from old patterns of thinking, feeling, and being that have held you back to becoming more of the best version of yourself.
Therapy should be a safe, supportive space in which you can be your authentic self. As one human to another, I invite you to come as you are, knowing you will not be judged. My approach begins with learning about you, the challenges you're facing, and what brings you to therapy. Together, we'll set goals that align with your core values and what you'd like to accomplish. Whether it's healing past wounds, learning to manage emotions, working on relationships, or exploring your full potential, therapy is about you and I'll be here alongside you on your journey to a better life.
Hi! I am Jackie Maffett. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University and have been in professional practice for 12 years.
I have worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, community mental health centers, and schools. I have worked with a diverse range of clients including adults, teens, children, families, and couples.
I consider myself an integrative therapist, meaning that I pull from different theoretical orientations based on my clients’ particular needs. I most often use cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques to help clients change intrusive thought patterns and develop healthy behaviors. I also use a psychodynamic focus to help my clients develop insight into the origin of their presenting problems. I am a solution-focused therapist and aim to foster practical change in my clients’ lives. I value my clients’ strengths and try to assist them in discovering those natural abilities to help bring about desired change. Finally, I whole-heartedly believe in the importance of creating a safe, trusting, and judgment-free space for my clients and I work to establish a warm, collaborative therapeutic relationship in which feedback is welcomed.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with various mental health and substance abuse issues, in various clinical settings. I have a very informal, down-to-earth, and at times unconventional approach to therapy.
I use not only the traditional therapeutic approaches, but also EMDR, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Attachment-based modalities, and Trauma-Informed care. I have developed mental health and substance abuse programs/curricula for high-risk youth and Native American youth.

I’m a licensed professional counselor with 20 years of experience in community mental health settings. As a therapist and behavioral health practitioner, I have worked with complex trauma, psychosis, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, and co-occurring substance use. I have a masters degree in clinical psychology from the University of Amsterdam and lived in the Netherlands for six years. There, I also began building my family, and that international foundation shaped both how I think and how I work.
I work with adults navigating a wide range of life challenges — from anxiety, depression, and relationship patterns to identity, major transitions, and the quieter but persistent sense that something just isn’t working. This includes people working through faith transitions or untangling the psychological weight of a strict or high-control religious upbringing — something I understand not just clinically, but personally. Whether you’re in crisis or simply ready to understand yourself better, I meet people where they are.
