My name is Dr. Perynn D'Alba and I am a clinical psychologist. I enjoy working with clients who are ready to make changes. These can be big or small, this is your life and your time, I am here to help you figure out what isn't working quite right. I enjoy being creative in my interventions and really figuring out what will work best for you. I use humor where appropriate because it can be an important intervention and give space to dig deeper. I have had various jobs in my life in quite a few different fields but the common thread was that I enjoy empowering others and helping people figure out what they want and how to get that.
I am open to our first session being more of a background or jumping right in, each person is different so intakes tend to shift.
My strength as a clinician is to meet you where you are. Together we will figure out what you would like from therapy and that may change along the way. Sometimes a small shift can make a big difference in life and sometimes we have to make big and difficult changes to improve our quality of life.
Women 25-35 tend to be my area of focus because this is when our lives change drastically in many different ways.
A humanistic approach allows me to meet a client where they are at. It creates the dynamic that the client knows themselves best and I create space to allow change where it would be beneficial and improve someone’s quality of life.
