My treatment methods

Eclectic

I have been using an Eclectic approach to therapy for many years. I use strategies and interventions from different modalities to fit each client’s own unique needs. It is a flexible approach to therapy that helps me address each client's wants and needs to help them have a more positive outlook in life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral to help individuals identify and replace negative thoughts and behaviors that impact their emotional health. All our thoughts and behaviors are connected and by changing negative thoughts we can change our behaviors.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person centered approach focuses on creating a supportive, accepting and empathetic environment for clients to access their own inner resources for personal growth and development. I like to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space and help clients increase their self-awareness and facilitate personal growth through reflective listening and clarifying emotions and meanings.

I feel really bad because we got cut off at the end so I wasn’t able to thank her for her time. Overall, I enjoyed our brief conversation even though there was a connection issue. She’s pretty easy-going and very genuine. I appreciate her suggesting the right fit for the issues I have moving forward.

I had my first session with Lori today. Although we weren't a good match she helped navigate me in the right direction and is going to refer me to other therapist who specialize in the areas I need help in. She was very sweet and direct which I loved!
