In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our initial session, we'll introduce ourselves briefly and delve into the specific issues you're encountering. This will guide the creation of a personalized plan for our subsequent sessions, ensuring focus on working towards the goals you want to achieve.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a maternal mental health therapist, I focus in patient-centered, trauma-informed, evidence-based care with cultural humility and a holistic approach. I create safe spaces for clients to share, tailor treatment plans using modalities like CBT, DBT, Mindfullness, Grief Therapy, and ACT for effective symptom management and recovery. I prioritize understanding diverse backgrounds and integrating cultural sensitivity into therapy. Additionally, I address mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being, collaborating with clients on nutrition, exercise, social support, and self-care practices. My commitment to these principles empowers individuals on their healing journey.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am positioned to serve women at various life stages, including pre-conception, perinatal, postpartum, and parenting. I specialize in assisting first-generation individuals and those navigating major life transitions. Most of my clients are working on processing trauma, finding their new self after major life transitions, working to regain emotional stability, cope with the challenges of motherhood, improve their overall well-being, and develop effective coping strategies. Additionally, to provide support to navigate the complexities of parenting and strengthen their bond with their child, spouse, or family.

I like that I learn new things whether it’s about motherhood or how the mind works. Being able to find understanding of why I may be experiencing or feeling certain emotions helps me have more compassion for myself. The weight on my mind and body feels lighter after we meet. She’s the best therapist I’ve ever met.
