Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I graduated from California State University Northridge with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and furthered my education at Antioch University Los Angeles, where I obtained a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy. I’ve had the privilege of working with different demographics in a range of therapeutic environments. I’ve worked with teens in the high school setting, with individuals struggling with substance abuse and eating disorders, as well as patients with depression, anxiety, low self esteem, trauma, toxic relationships, and co-dependency. I generally combine the use of both humanistic and client-centered psychotherapy in my work. With that said, I tailor my services to each client and their clinical needs. While accompanying my clients on their journey of change and growth, I provide them with unconditional compassion and acceptance. My goal is to cultivate an authentic human connection with my clients by creating a safe and comfortable space to explore, promoting growth, and facilitating change.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help us collaboratively create a tailored plan to focus on in follow-up sessions.

I love working with adults +18 who are motivated to make changes and improve their lives. My clients are interested in exploring and challenging themselves in order to achieve their goals, but do not yet have the tools to do so. I really appreciated the time with Tomer! He is an amazing listener and has a great no nonsense approach that I think works for many people suffering with anxiety. I highly recommend Tomer and will have him on speed dial for the future !!!

Tomar is always authentic with me and talks to me with such honesty and respect. He always thinks about things before he converses them with me because he cares and wants to give the best feedback, and he does. The talks we've had and tools he's helped me use are amazing. I always feel comfortable with Tomar and am appreciative that he's my therapist.

My therapist is a good listener, and he provides me with useful perspective to reflect on. I look forward to our sessions, even when I’m otherwise feeling unhappy.
