Robbin Beohourou
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving clients across California with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families. Outside of therapy, I feel most connected to the natural world. I’m an eco-therapist, an avid bird watcher, a lover of line dancing, and someone who values solo travel as a form of self-care and renewal.
First session
The first session would be getting to know one another, establishing and understanding that is a partnership.
Strengths
A few strengths that stand out and make me unique in session is that I have the ability to make people laugh, and it's not always on purpose. I enjoy helping people see the best within themselves and providing tailored homework experiences detailed to the clients individual needs to support insight for growth and positive change.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is someone standing at the threshold of change, fully ready to choose themselves and step into their own story. They have lived through the chapters, gathered the experiences, and are now seeking the clarity to connect the dots. They aren't looking for a quick fix; they are looking to understand their patterns, align with their true purpose, and turn their lived history into a clear, confident path forward.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is built around a simple idea: your thoughts, your feelings, and your actions are constantly talking to each other. When these three parts work together, they help you navigate daily life smoothly. But when they get out of sync or start feeding into negative cycles, it can make you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or confused. I assist with connecting the dots when they are working against each other and help support positive developing skills to align with one another.
