Hi, I’m Beverly and I have been a psychotherapist since January, 1999. I have experience providing therapy in multiple settings over the years, including private practice, online platforms, Kaiser Permanente department of psychiatry, outpatient clinics, Hospice, inpatient medical detox, and various school and university settings. I am also a Chopra certified meditation instructor. Currently, I work primarily with high functioning, high insight adult individuals in private practice, focusing on women’s issues, healthy relationship dynamics and skills, mind/body healing, and personal development and empowerment. I take an individually curated approach, created in partnership with each client, utilizing creativity, often image/metaphor, symbolic dream work and integrated somatic focus. I love to share the gifts gained as a Chopra instructor as well, to those interested in utilizing meditation. My aim is to create a safe, supportive, understanding space and for you to consistently leave feeling significantly better!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Clients can expect to be genuinely seen and heard and met with present, committed empathic support.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

My treatment approach is strength based, positive and uplifting, versus "problem" focused. My therapeutic framework is one of relaxed empathy, support, creativity, intuitive guidance, patience and safety. I utilize creative framing and symbol, art therapy, somatic integration, meditation, dream work and have a psychodynamic clinical orientation (making the unconscious, conscious).

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My biggest clinical strength is capacity for analysis, helping to make unconscious driving forces and patterns, more conscious, resulting in increased empowerment and health. I also utilize symbol/metaphor/imagery to a great extent and enjoy creating personalized healing rituals with clients. Having the Chopra certification also contributes an expanded, supplemental skill set. I posses particular knowledge around narcissistic abuse recovery, including an especially curated "playbook" with regard to how to best manage ongoing contact, if necessary. Please visit my YouTube channel, if you'd like to get a further feeling for my work: @BeverlyFlemingLMFT as well as my website: pathtowardpeace.com for more information and I look forward to working together if it feels like a mutual fit. Wishing you ever increasing peace and wellbeing! ~ Beverly

Working with Beverly has been one of the most impactful decisions. I look forward to our sessions, I leave each one feeling stronger, grounded, and more self-aware. She has given me the tools and confidence to navigate difficult relationships—especially with narcissistic—and to start setting boundaries that protect my peace. I’m learning how to let go of toxic dynamics. Her compassion, insight, and guidance have made all the difference.
