About me

I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Sierra, and I am a California-based licensed Psychologist with over 10 years of clinical experience supporting adults as they navigate life's challenges. My passion is helping people not only understand themselves more deeply, but also make lasting positive changes. I take a holistic approach to therapy that supports the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. This often includes mind-body strategies such as nervous system education, mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), somatic healing, and when helpful, collaboration with integrative providers like nutritionists. I also draw from additional evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while paying close attention to how stress or trauma may show up in the body. In our work together, we’ll create a personalized plan that blends insight, practical tools, and meaningful action. My goal is to provide a space where you feel truly seen and supported, and where therapy becomes not just about coping with challenges, but about moving toward the life you most want to live.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, judgement free space where we focus on what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain. We’ll discuss your current challenges, history, and begin identifying goals. I’ll also share how I approach therapy from a holistic perspective and ensure you feel comfortable with the process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a diverse toolkit to therapy, blending mindfulness practices with evidence-based strategies to support each unique client. My path to becoming a holistic psychologist has been shaped by a mix of life experiences, curiosity, and a deep desire to understand people on a whole-person level. Before I ever sat with clients, I was a Division 1 soccer player at UC Berkeley, learning firsthand about discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Later, my love for both science and human connection led me to pursue my doctorate in psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) Alliant. Along the way, I leaned deeply into mindfulness and holistic practices—not just as concepts to teach, but as ways of living. I had the privilege of teaching an 8-week Mindfulness and Self-Compassion course at UCSF, and I also spent time living at a Zen Buddhist meditation center in New Mexico, where I traded in my phone for meditation bells and learned the value of presence. My clinical journey took me through community mental health centers and hospitals, where I witnessed the resilience of people facing immense challenges. Beyond my therapeutic work, I’m passionate about living life fully and embracing bucket-list adventures. Some highlights so far include paddle boarding in Yosemite and trail running in Whistler—with hopes of one day swimming alongside manta rays in Hawaii. In the same way, I love helping clients not only navigate challenges but also discover and move toward what brings joy. I see myself as a loving companion on your journey back to wholeness, walking alongside you as you reconnect with your true self.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with adults (21 and over) who may be feeling weighed down by anxiety, depression, relational struggles, or the impact of trauma. I also have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent individuals with concerns related to ADHD or Autism, as well as those navigating grief and major life transitions. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients from many different walks of life—whether it’s seniors adjusting to new chapters, high-performing professionals managing the pressures of Silicon Valley, or young adults finding their place in the world. My clientele is diverse, and I welcome adults of all ages, cultural backgrounds, and sexual orientations.

My treatment methods

Integrative

I take a holistic integrative approach to therapy, which means I tailor therapy to meet the unique needs, goals, and life experiences of each client. Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all method, the therapeutic process will pull from a range of evidence-based strategies (i.e. somatic, psychodynamic, CBT, and solution-focused) to support your growth and healing. My goal is to provide support that feels grounded, practical, and aligned with who you are and where you want to go.
