Hi, I’m Michelle, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I help clients navigate anxiety, relationship stress, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions using practical, evidence-based tools you can actually use in everyday life. My style is warm, collaborative, and direct. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel both supported and empowered. Together, we’ll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build emotional resilience, and help you feel more grounded, confident, and aligned with the life you want to create.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a warm, low-pressure space where we begin getting to know each other. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been struggling with, and what you hope might feel different in your life. We’ll talk about current stressors, relevant experiences, and where you feel you are right now, as well as where you’d like to be heading. From there, we’ll start identifying goals and creating a plan together that feels realistic, supportive, and aligned with the direction you want your life to go.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I focus on helping clients recognize patterns, build emotional regulation skills, and make meaningful changes that align with their values. I like to keep things active and practice, emphasizing real-life application so you aren’t just talking about change, you're actively creating it.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with clients who are thoughtful, self-aware, and motivated to grow, even if they’re not sure where to start. Many of my clients are college students or young adults navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, identity development, and the pressure to have it all “figured out.” My ideal clients are curious about themselves and open to learning new skills.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT as a practical, skills-based approach to help clients better understand their emotions and respond to them more effectively. The tools we use focus on emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and healthier relationships. I love DBT’s balance of acceptance and change, we work on validating what’s real and hard while also building skills that create meaningful growth. My style is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping clients leave session with tools they can actually use in day to day life.
