I'm an LCSW with a strong focus on supporting high functioning individuals experiencing burnout, anxiety, and a lack of professional/personal balance. I approach therapy collaboratively and from a relational perspective. Simply put, I meet people where they are and from there, I help them to discover solutions that work for them by utilizing evidence-based tools from a variety of approaches (CBT, ACT, EMDR, polyvagal theory). My personal style is compassionate, grounded in authentic connection, and infused with warmth and humor.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session you can expect to be provided with space to share your reasons for coming to therapy and what you hope to accomplish. We will also discuss expectations for our working relationship, including any expectations you have and addressing any questions you may have.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in an authentic relational style. Drawing from multiple approaches like CBT, ACT, EMDR and attachment based work, I tailor therapy to each client rather than using a narrow, cookie-cutter model. My clients appreciate my down to earth, supportive presence and practical insights. Regardless of specific approach, my goal is always to support clients in finding strategies for change that feel appropriate and sustainable.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in supporting thoughtful, high-functioning individuals who are navigating anxiety, burnout, and life transitions. I generally work with people who are capable, responsible, and who outwardly appear to "have it all together" yet struggle with internal feelings of overwhelm, disconnection, or being stretched too thin. They often are looking for greater emotional balance, relief from overthinking, and a clearer sense of self and direction. As a psychodynamically oriented therapist, I'm best with clients who are curious about themselves, open to reflection, and interested in exploring both present challenges and deeper patterns. Together, we work on building insight and strengthening skills as a foundation for creating sustainable changes so that life feels more manageable, meaningful, and value aligned.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to work with clients who are hoping for noticeable reductions in symptoms related to anxiety or depression. This might be to address and reduce overthinking or to adjust patterns of thought that are unhelpful.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I often use components of ACT to assist clients in building mindfulness skills and learning how to work with symptoms of depression, anxiety, and burnout without letting the symptoms overwhelm or 'drive the bus,' per se.

Attachment-based

I work from an attachment-based perspective to help people understand how early experiences contribute to adult relationship patterns.

Compassion Focused

I work from a compassion focused perspective helping people to address negative self-talk, self-criticism, and excessive blame by developing greater compassion for themselves.

EMDR

I am trained to use EMDR to assist with reprocessing of traumatic memories.
