New to Grow
My approach to therapy is rooted in authenticity, directness, and deep compassion. I believe that real change happens when we can be honest with ourselves and with each other. In our work together, you can expect me to show up as an authentic person. I'll meet you where you are with honesty, empathy, and a healthy dose of no BS.
Therapy isn't always easy, but it can be incredibly meaningful. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported enough to be honest, challenged enough to grow, and safe enough to explore what's going on beneath the surface. I bring a direct, down-to-earth style to the work, balanced with empathy and a deep respect for your experience.
My work is grounded in person-centered and psychodynamic approaches. I believe in your capacity for self-understanding and healing. I help you explore deeper emotional patterns, especially ones formed early in life that may still show up in how you relate to yourself, others, and the world. I work with adults ready to look beneath the surface—whether you're stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, struggling in relationships, or trying to reconnect with who you are. I bring empathy and honest reflection into the room.
I work with adults facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and self-esteem issues. My approach is collaborative and supportive, with an emphasis on helping clients better understand themselves and the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Together, we focus on building practical coping tools, strengthening resilience, and creating meaningful, sustainable change that aligns with each client’s values and goals.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I help clients understand how their thoughts affect their emotions and actions. We work together to identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck, develop healthier ways of thinking, and practice new behaviors that improve mood, relationships, and overall well-being.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT to help clients develop tools to navigate difficult emotions, stressful situations, and relationship challenges. In therapy, we focus on increasing self-awareness, strengthening coping skills, and learning ways to respond to life's ups and downs with greater flexibility and resilience.
Psychodynamic
I use a psychodynamic approach to help clients explore how past experiences, relationships, and life patterns may be influencing their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By gaining a deeper understanding of themselves and the underlying factors that contribute to their struggles, clients can develop greater insight, heal old wounds, and make more intentional choices in their lives and relationships.
Trauma Informed Care
Trauma-informed care means I approach therapy with an understanding that difficult life experiences can shape how we see ourselves, others, and the world. I prioritize creating a safe and compassionate space where clients can explore their experiences, build coping skills, and work toward healing without feeling judged or pressured.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use a solution-focused approach to help clients identify their strengths, build on what is already working, and develop practical steps toward their goals. Rather than focusing solely on problems, we work together to create meaningful solutions and recognize the resources and abilities clients already possess to make positive changes.
