Hi, I’m Ange. I help people who are stressed, stuck, or just plain worn out from trying to hold it all together. My style is pretty down to earth. Some days we’ll get into the deep stuff, other days we might laugh about how messy life can be. I also speak Cantonese and Mandarin, so you can show up in whatever language feels most natural.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take some time to settle in and talk about what you need, what’s been going on, and what you hope to get out of therapy. I’ll walk you through what you can expect from me, and we’ll set the pace together. It’s really just the start of building a safe space for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My clients often tell me I am easy to talk to and that I don’t get rattled easily. Nothing you share is going to be too much or too strange. This is your space to bring whatever you are carrying. If you cope with a bit of dark humor that is welcome too. Therapy can hold both the heavy and the lighter moments and I believe we need both.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m a good fit for people who are feeling stretched thin, stuck, or just plain exhausted by all the responsibilities on their plate. I often work with folks dealing with anxiety, depression, caregiving stress, or cultural and family pressures. If you are looking for a therapist who can meet you where you are, listen without judgment, and help you feel a little less alone, we’ll likely be a good match.

My treatment methods

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

I provide therapy that is culturally sensitive which means I pay attention to your background, values, and experiences and how they shape the way you see the world. I have worked with clients in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin and I aim to create a space where you do not have to explain or defend your culture or identity. This is your space to show up as you are.

Trauma Informed Care

I practice with a trauma informed approach which means I understand that past experiences can shape how you feel and respond today. My priority is creating a safe space where you feel steady and in control of the pace. We can explore difficult experiences when you are ready and use humor along the way if that helps lighten the load.

Motivational Interviewing

I use motivational interviewing to help clients explore their own goals and values. It is not about me telling you what to do but about asking the right questions so you can figure out what feels realistic and meaningful for you. I see it as walking alongside you and shining a light so you can choose the direction that works best.

Strength-Based

I take a strengths based approach which means we focus on what is already working for you and build from there. In my work with clients I have seen how people carry more resilience and skills than they often give themselves credit for. My role is to help you notice those strengths and use them to handle stress, navigate challenges, and move toward your goals.
