I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker of over 20 years. I attended UC Berkeley for my undergraduate degree and received my MSW from the University of Southern California. I have post graduate training and certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and the Triple P Parenting program. I draw from an eclectic lens, borrowing from attachment, object relations, psychosocial developmental stage theory and Family Systems theory. I work with clients to identify how traumas and deficits in early interpersonal relationships are impacting a client's current relationships and sense of self. Through deep exploration, meaning making and skill-building, I take my client on a reparative journey towards a more authentic self.

Dana is kind and very present for her clients. When talking with her, I always felt heard and understood. That doesn’t mean that she always thought I was on the right track, but it does mean that when I took a wrong turn, she got me back on the right path. She helped make it safe for me to sit with difficult memories, insights, and emotions and, thereby, to get better at working my way toward understanding and wholeness.
