We are thrilled to announce an impactful collaboration between Grow Therapy and #HalfTheStory Project, united by our shared commitment to Mental Health Awareness Month.

In our annual State of Mental Health in America survey, we discovered a profound truth:

100% of therapists agree that social media can have a negative influence on mental well-being.

This alarming statistic has become the catalyst for our partnership with #HalfTheStory, a renowned nonprofit on a mission to empower the next generation’s relationship with technology and improve mental health.

At Grow Therapy, we are dedicated to providing accessible and effective mental health solutions for individuals seeking support. Our team of compassionate therapists understands the unique challenges faced by those navigating the digital landscape, and we firmly believe in addressing the detrimental impact of social media on mental health.

Together, Grow Therapy and #HalfTheStory aim to shed light on the hidden narratives behind mental health struggles exacerbated by social media. By merging our expertise and resources, we endeavor to:

Amplify Awareness: Through thought-provoking campaigns, we will raise awareness about the harmful impact of social media on mental health, encouraging open conversations and fostering understanding.

Empower Individuals: Together, we will provide a safe space for individuals to share their personal stories, unmasking the hidden realities and inspiring others to seek support, ultimately reducing the stigma surrounding mental health challenges.

Drive Positive Change: Armed with invaluable data from our therapists, we will advocate for change at the systemic level, collaborating with policymakers, mental health professionals, and technology companies to create a healthier digital landscape.

Join us throughout Mental Health Awareness Month as we embark on this transformative journey. Together, we can challenge the status quo, support one another, and pave the way for a future where social media nurtures our well-being, rather than diminishing it.

If you don’t currently have a therapist, we can connect you with one who can offer support and address any questions or concerns. If you or your child is experiencing a medical emergency, is considering harming themselves or others, or is otherwise in imminent danger, you should dial 9-1-1 and/or go to the nearest emergency room.
