Hello there my name is William. I have been in the field for nearly 10 years now. I have worked in a variety of positions from Hospital settings to inpatient, to group/couples work, and the standard individual sessions. I am a sex-positive therapist who works with a wide range of issues for both individuals and relationships of all kinds. I work well with either couples or individuals using a combination of short and long-term goals. Communication and understanding are the goals. However, I only work with 18+ clients. I'm not sure what exactly brought you here but I can guess it has something to do with seeking a positive change. Perhaps this is your first time trying therapy or you well versed in the process. No matter the reason or experience level I would like to offer you a safe space to let those feelings out and share them in a nonjudgmental space.

My name is Krystyna Ksiazek. I live in Massachusetts. I am a Licensed Mental Health Clinician. I have been practicing psychotherapy for 29 years and never got sick of it. Seeing my clients succeeding, whether in therapy or their private life adds meaning to my work. My area of interest is Trauma and Complex-PTSD, Anxiety Spectrum Disorders such as Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Agoraphobia, phobias, Eating disorders, Depression, and Grief. Also, I have experience in the treatment of anger management problems, self-harm behaviors, and dissociative/split personality disorders. I like working with Young Adults, Adults, the Elderly, men, and women. I like to reach out beyond the traditional scope of therapeutic interventions, to alternative medicine based on the homeostatic model of health. I want to help clients to build self-confidence and optimism and empower them to face new challenges, grow and succeed as they never imagined. I like to build up therapeutic alliances with the clients, and create an atmosphere where they know and feel that I am there for them and that I understand and support them. I do not mind spending more time with them if this is clinically necessary. Also, under exceptional circumstances, I allowed clients to contact me on the phone outside of therapy sessions, to assist them in coping with extraordinary situations, guide them when they struggle with using newly acquired skills, etc. I came to the USA from Poland in the year of 1981. I had to start "from the bottom". I have been through many ups and downs, and painful personal losses; my mother, friend boyfriend, but I never gave up. My resilience, optimism and non-conformist outlook on life, did not allow me to accept the failure. Contrary, it motivated me to try harder, because I believed that "I can". Most of the time it worked.

*Not Accepting Children/Teenager Clients* Reaching out for help in the form of therapy is not an easy thing to do as many can attest, but by reading this biography, you are taking the first step in getting help for yourself or a loved one. At times, life offers many struggles and obstacles that can be difficult to overcome alone. Engaging in therapy will provide opportunities to explore and process the thoughts and feelings that prevent you from living your best life. Though the thought of therapy may be intimidating and even nerve-wrecking for some, I believe once a person finds the right therapist, they find a trusting confidant who seeks to understand and problem solve.

Hi this is Carol. I am a licensed independent clinical social worker in eight states including Pennsylvania, Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Illinois. My career started in Pennsylvania where I attended Chestnut Hill College and received my Master's in Counseling Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy Option. It continued in upstate Pennsylvania and New York where I attended SUNY University of Buffalo and received my Master of Social Work Degree. I capped those off with a Psy.D. from CalSouthern University, received Magnum Cum Laude in 2012 using an online doctoral format. I am also an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor in the state of South Carolina. I was fortunate to have an opportunity to attend the University of South Carolina shortly after relocating in 2016 where I received a certificate in Military Matters. If you are being stalked by traumatic memories that you cannot shake, we can disburse them using best evidence practices. If your anxiety has gotten out of control, we can combine forces to put you in control of the stressors and persistent thoughts that keep you from being your best and sleeping well at night. When depression makes you want to stay inside of your home or in bed each day, I have tools we can use to empower you and help you avoid guilt. For any problem that interferes with your life or life transitions, there is a tool in my toolbox that has the power to bring about change. If we need a tool from someone else's toolbox, I know how to either borrow that tool, gain that missing knowledge, or do a warm handoff to other resources and providers without missing a beat. I strongly believe in the unity of and interaction between the mind and body. The body keeps the score and emotional and physical assaults leave scars. I believe that a respectful level of humor enhances one's ability to grow and accept the dialectal events in life. Research tells us that a sense of humor helps people to learn and grow. Therapy is one of many ways in which we learn to navigate the roads and streams of life.

Additionally, I have experience with domestic violence, the Department of Children and Families (DCF), foster care regulations, and the Massachusetts legal system. My therapeutic approach pulls from several different types of therapy, and though I'm mostly based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I'm also able to utilize different approaches and techniques as needed. I am very open and welcoming to feedback, as well as flexible, so I always encourage people to share what they want and need while we're working together so that I have a chance to help or adjust accordingly. I’ve also worked with clients of all ages from all kinds of ethnicities, religions, and backgrounds. Once we build a positive relationship with open and honest communication, I am confident I can help and support you in reaching your goals! A promise to you, as my client: I will always work at your pace, so you'll never feel rushed, and we'll always focus on whatever issue you feel is most important or urgent. As a licensed Psychologist, I first prioritize learning not only why a person is contacting me, but also to be able to relate to that person based on their individual needs and what are their expectations of therapy. I believe that we all need to have a sense of purpose or meaningfulness in our lives, something that our thoughts, emotions and life experiences contribute to the "heart" of our personalities. The process of healing from the challenges of life begins with a search for truth about our beliefs, habits and relationships. Physical health is affected by our mental health through the complex interactions between the brain and bodily functions. Interventions I use in my sessions include Cognitive Therapy, CBT, DBT and ACT. As a Psychologist, I have worked in private practice, long term care, and forensic and psychiatric hospitals. Even though these patient populations are diverse, the common denominator is the human "heart". My sessions work to connect a person's sense of meaning in life to help them overcome anxiety, depression and a loss of personal identity in this complex world.
