My style is explorational, affirmative and always respectful of where you’ve come from and the goals you’d like to meet in the coming days. We’ll explore your life experiences--and seek to add understanding and self-compassion. I am a Board-Certified Fellow in the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress licensed in Massachusetts and Florida, and I have earned two Masters degrees--my second Masters is in Counseling Psychology.
We'll get to know each other and see if we're a good fit. We'll work together to get a sense of the people and places in your life and the reasons you're looking to therapy as an aid to better understanding.
I listen, and I give clients the time and the space to develop their thoughts and speak them in a way that not only gets their message across but also respects the journey they've been on. They can count on my respect and patience.
Along with my experience with trauma, PTSD and the after-effects of abuse, I'm an experienced clinical oncology licensed mental health counselor, recently at a major outpatient cancer treatment center. If you or someone you know is dealing with cancer, we may be a good fit. I also work with managers, executives and those occupying the C suite who find themselves experiencing Imposter Syndrome. If that sounds like you, let's talk.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

This exceeded my admittedly low expectations for an intake appointment by far. So happy I gave it a shot.
