Hi There! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for Florida, Massachusetts and Virginia. I received my Bachelor's and Master's Degree from Florida International University. I have been practicing for 5 years and I provide my services in both English and Spanish. I specialize in providing comprehensive support and Psychoeducation. I focus on assisting individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, self-doubt, relational challenges, and low self-esteem. Through a holistic framework, I collaborate with clients to enhance their overall well-being and mental health in a safe and non-judgmental space.
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions to get to know one another. This session is about building trust and establishing a therapeutic relationship. Its also about creating an empathetic and open environment. I will offer support and validate your feelings, but there will be no pressure to share more than what you feel ready to. We will discuss specific challenges you're facing, any concerns you may have, or any reservations you may feel about therapy. This is a great opportunity for you to ask questions and we will discuss expectations for our therapeutic alliance. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work together to support your growth, healing and well-being. By the end of the session, my goal is to have provided you with a comfortable and safe space where you feel hopeful, confident and eager for the journey ahead.
As a Clinician, I am committed to provide a safe and non-judgmental space. I ensure that sessions are conducted in an atmosphere of trust and that my clients feel heard and supported. My goal is to facilitate a sense of ease while collaboratively identifying underlying issues and establishing realistic goals for the future. I provide a warmth and compassionate approach but also help clients hold themselves accountable. Through active listening, Psychoeducation and blending evidence-based techniques, I create and provide personalized care. I believe in meeting my clients where they are in their journey.
I believe that seeking help is an act of courage rather than weakness. I love working with individuals navigating life challenges and transitions. Through a compassionate approach, I help clients recognize their internal struggles, and together we work on establishing the necessary tools to overcome them. I focus on building a healthy therapeutic relationship where clients feel empowered to work towards a transformative therapeutic journey.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
This approach is based on the idea that our thoughts, feelings and behaviors are all connected. Negative thoughts can lead to negative feelings and actions, but by changing the way we think, we can improve how we feel and behave. I use CBT in my practice to help clients learn and incorporate different strategies into their routine which help them change maladaptive thought patterns and behaviors. Clients are able to gain healthier and more functional ways of thinking and acting.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
In my practice with clients, I use this therapeutic approach to identify client's strengths and what's already working in their lives. During our therapy sessions, we focus on developing effective solutions creating small, achievable steps towards desired outcomes, fostering a sense of progress and empowerment. I help clients emphasize on solutions rather than problems to help them maintain hope and build on their existing capabilities to create meaningful and lasting change.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
In working with clients I use this form of psychotherapy to focus on helping individuals accept difficult emotions without judgement, rather than trying to avoid them. I help clients identify their core values and align their actions with said values. Clients learn to foster a sense of purpose and direction. Through different techniques and exercises, clients are able to develop psychological flexibility, which enables them to navigate challenges with resilience and intention.

I’ve had a very positive experience with my psychologist. She is very empathetic, attentive, and respectful, and she really knows how to listen without judging. She creates a safe space from the first session. She has helped me understand my emotions better, and her support has helped me feel more secure.

Lianet was really nice, understanding, I felt heard, at the end she went over the plan and goals for our future sessions. She made me feel very comfortable which allowed me to speak freely.
