I’m excited to get to know you better! In the meantime, here’s a little about me, and my professional experience and training. I think one of the biggest challenges, after taking that first brave step of reaching out, is to find a good therapist that you connect with. In my twenty-plus years of experience, the therapeutic relationship is the principal reason that therapy “works” or “doesn’t work.” My therapeutic style focuses on first developing a strong therapeutic alliance in which you feel emotionally safe and heard without judgment. You’ve already come to the conclusion that something in your life is not working, and my task is to help you to identify the ways in which you’d like things to be different. From there, together we can create realistic, achievable goals that support those changes and move you toward the life that you deserve. I have a large repertoire of strategies and interventions, which include cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and motivational interviewing. Producing insights, strategies, and tools that you can use immediately is the goal of every interaction. I have extensive experience in trauma, anxiety, relationship issues (adult as well as parent-child), substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders. I have found that many people experiencing trauma or anxiety are helped by a combination of mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy. This teaches them how to tolerate their intense feelings and how to reframe unhelpful thought patterns that keep them stuck. On a personal note, I have been a LMFT since 1997 and have worked with a variety of clients in many different settings. I work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Friday mornings. My latest appointment is 4:00PM ET When I’m not helping people, I can usually be found on the golf course. I look forward to helping you to make the changes you desire.

Hi, my name is Bradley Levy LICSW and have 20 years of experience in the field. Are there changes that either you want to or need to act upon? If things feel too difficult to change and you need guidance, support, direction, and empathic listening you might be a great candidate for individual therapy from me. What separates me from other clinicians is my versatility. Throughout my career, I have worked at every level of care and every population. From individual therapy/group therapy to intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization programs to being the clinical director at a locked psychiatric hospital, I have seen pretty much everything. My main objective in all cases is to try and build a trusting rapport/relationship in which no judgment is made and an atmosphere where one can feel safe talking about difficult issues, their current level or desire to change through motivational interviewing and CBT. Over the years I have come to develop areas of extreme expertise such as addiction (either oneself or a loved one), co-occurring disorders or dual diagnosis, dealing with any diagnosis from adjustment disorders to more complex or serious mental illness which includes major depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, and the conditions that fall within these categories. In addition, I can offer case management services, assist with paperwork, or find the right treatment if need a higher level of care.

After many years working in science, I got training in psychotherapy: first in psychoanalysis, then in powerful, evidence-based emotion-focused approaches like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFCT/EFIT), AEDP and EMDR. This blend lets me speak to both your heart and your mind. Together we’ll figure out what approach works best for you—whether it’s deep exploration, emotional processing, or a more targeted skills based approach. My goal in our sessions is to create a safe space between us—where you can feel truly secure enough to explore your own way of connecting to the world, to others, and to yourself. I want this to be a place where being vulnerable doesn't feel risky, where emotions can come up without judgment, and where you get to practice being seen and heard exactly as you are. From there, we build the confidence and skills to carry that sense of safety into your everyday relationships and life. If that sounds like something you'd like to try, I'm ready whenever you are. Hi, I’m Colleen. I’m a licensed therapist who believes therapy should be a space where you can show up as yourself without feeling judged or like you have to have everything figured out. My approach is warm, supportive, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I work with individuals who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, struggling with confidence, navigating life changes, or simply wanting to better understand themselves and the patterns that may be affecting their lives. Together, we’ll identify what matters most to you and work toward goals that feel meaningful and realistic. I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all. As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with graduate degrees in Social Work and Physical Education, I've devoted my career to understanding how trauma shapes the mind, body, and the stories we tell ourselves. My work has taken me through military service, law enforcement, homeless work, suicide prevention, and complex mental health, giving me the privilege of walking alongside people during some of the most painful and defining moments of their lives. Those experiences didn't just shape my career—they shaped who I am and how I practice. I've lived through experiences that forced me to confront fear, grief, shame, loss, and the devastating consequences of believing I had to carry those burdens alone. I've seen what trauma can do to the human spirit, and I've also seen what becomes possible when someone is finally understood instead of judged. That belief is the foundation of my practice.

Hello! My name is Ms. Tammy Carson and I am a board-certified Psychotherapist. I am originally from Boston Massachusetts. In my younger years I traveled and worked in many states in a corporate yet still helping role as a business analyst and functioned as a project manager too in South Africa Johannesburg. I am licensed in the state of Massachusetts and Florida. I attended a Christian college for my undergraduate degree at Eastern Nazarene a college affiliated through the church of the Nazarene. The social work department at the college mirrored and was taught social work through a Christian perspective and philosophies taken from the stories of the bible. I completed my graduate degree at Simmons School of Social Work in Boston Massachusetts, getting an MSW, and an Urban Leadership certificate. I have been licensed and doing psychotherapy since 2013. My last job before doing psychotherapy full time was working in an emergency room alongside psychiatric residents doing crisis evaluations, advocating for all populations to get them the proper level of care needed. I like to think in psychotherapy session’s that, “I meet people where they are at in life”, and take it from there. I am an empath and proud of it. I genuinely like helping people understand, identify and better manage their daily lives and relationships. I enjoy helping people to take control and get the best out of life for themselves.

I'm so glad you're here! I am a Massachusetts-based Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I have a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in alcohol and substance use disorders. I bring over six years of experience supporting individuals and families across a wide range of mental health diagnoses. Before entering the mental health field, I served in the United States Army as an Apache Mechanic for more than four years. This experience shaped my strong work ethic, resilience, and deep respect for diverse life experiences, which I carry into my clinical work today. As a compassionate and experienced therapist, I integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches with a warm, approachable style and an appropriate touch of humor. My goal is to help clients navigate life’s challenges, foster personal growth, and build meaningful, fulfilling lives. I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where all individuals feel welcomed and respected. I value cultural humility and strive to ensure that each client’s unique cultural background is not only acknowledged but thoughtfully integrated into our work together. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process in which clients feel empowered to explore their emotions, overcome obstacles, and move toward lasting change.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
