LICSW, 13 years of experience
New to Grow
I provide an open-minded, affirming, and eclectic approach that blends CBT, DBT, expressive, and narrative therapies. My goal is to help you reconnect with your values, heal from the past, and create more joy in everyday life. Clients often describe my style as both grounded and humorous. I bring strong clinical assessment skills, a bit of awkward humor, and a healthy balance of optimism and realism into each session. I’m especially passionate about supporting clients who are exploring possible neurodivergence, navigating gender identity, healing from trauma, or facing challenges in relationships. I see therapy as a partnership where we create space for both reflection and action. Together, we’ll uncover what’s holding you back, develop practical tools for change, and work toward a life that feels more aligned and authentic.
Our first session will feel like an easy conversation. We’ll talk about what wellness means to you, what’s getting in the way, and what goals feel most important right now. I’ll meet you where you are and move at your pace—it’s your journey, and I’m here to guide and support you along the way. I’ll help you clarify your vision for growth and provide direction and gentle redirection as needed. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling seen, supported, and hopeful about the work ahead.
With over 13 years of experience, I’ve supported individuals and families of all ages through trauma recovery, expressive arts groups, and community-based work across Southern Massachusetts. I specialize in working with neurodivergent clients, including autistic individuals and late-diagnosed adults, as well as those impacted by adoption-based trauma. I bring compassion, creativity, and humor into the process while maintaining structure and clarity. You can expect an approach that values your individuality and celebrates progress—big or small
I work best with clients who are ready for collaboration and open to small, practical steps between sessions. I often assign brief, 10-minute tasks designed to support what we’re working on together each week. My ideal clients include those living with neurodivergence, adoption-related trauma, complex grief, abuse, neglect, or the effects of systemic oppression. I also enjoy working with parents and LGBTQ+ individuals seeking a space that is affirming, validating, and growth-oriented. If you’re looking for therapy that combines humor, depth, and authenticity, I’d be honored to walk alongside you in this process.
I use traditional CBT to help identify the connection between thoughts, actions and experiences and strategize ways to improve and relieve patterns that have been holding people back. For people who have experienced trauma, I combine this approach with a gentle trauma focus to increase feelings of safety.
I use narrative therapy to help people envision their lives from a place of growth, hope and courage. This treatment method is based on the idea that people create narratives to make sense of their lives, and that these narratives can influence their wellbeing.
I use DBT to increase the coping skills of people who are living through major challenges in their daily lives, to increase resilience and healing.
I employ a gender affirming approach to therapy to support gender expansive individuals in exploring the nuanced and complex experience of gender exploration and transition.
Above all I employ an integrative approach to therapy, tying together multiple treatment modalities based on the unique individual needs of each patient.
