Hi! I am a Massachusetts-based Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I have a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Cambridge College and more than 8 years of experience guiding people through grief, trauma, and anxiety. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish, and my method is trauma-informed and comprehensive, combining talk therapy with mindfulness, dreamwork, and sound healing to promote emotional and spiritual well-being.
In the first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming space where we'll get to know each other and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I'll ask about your current concerns, personal history, and goals for therapy while also answering any questions you may have about the therapeutic process.
One of my professional skills as a provider is fostering a safe, compassionate environment where clients feel seen, listened to, and valued. My therapeutic approach is from a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive perspective, promoting healing via empathy, insight, and a holistic approach that recognizes each client's unique experience and abilities. As a bilingual therapist, my native language is Spanish, and I am fluent in English. I can engage effectively with varied cultures and deliver care in the most comfortable language for each client.
I'm most suited to help people who are experiencing bereavement, trauma, anxiety, or significant life transitions and seek a compassionate, culturally aware, and holistic approach to recovery. I work effectively with clients who value emotional safety, self-discovery, and a mind-body-spirit connection, whether they are adults, adolescents, or children, particularly those who may feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or stalled on their healing journey.

Ana Marleen Macri Made My First Therapy Session A Much Better Experience Than Anticipated. Everything was very authentic and comfortable. She Also made me optimistic about the potential for progress which is something I been Struggling with. Much Looking Foward To Our Next Meeting
I practice trauma-informed grieving therapy, which understands how loss affects the entire person emotionally, physically, and spiritually. By combining story work, mindfulness, and developmentally appropriate strategies, I assist individuals in processing grief in a safe, supportive atmosphere that fosters healing, resilience, and meaningful growth.
