Hi, I’m Ana, a Massachusetts-based Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Cambridge College and have over 11 years of experience supporting individuals through grief, trauma, and major life transitions. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, holistic, and supportive. I integrate talk therapy, mindfulness, emotional awareness, meaning-making, and mind-body practices to support healing, resilience, and personal growth. As a bilingual therapist, my native language is Spanish, and I am fluent in English. I strive to provide a compassionate and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel safe, understood, and supported.
In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where we begin getting to know each other and building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I will ask about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, your personal history, your strengths, and your goals. We will also discuss what you hope to gain from therapy and which type of support feels most helpful to you. You are welcome to ask questions about the process, and we will move at a pace that feels safe and comfortable.
One of my strengths as a therapist is creating a compassionate and safe environment where people feel seen, heard, and respected. I bring a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and holistic perspective to my work, recognizing that healing involves the mind, body, emotions, and personal meaning. My approach stands out because I honor the whole person, including experiences that may be difficult to name, explain, or discuss in traditional spaces. I support individuals who are processing grief, major life changes, and extraordinary or spiritually transformative experiences, including near-death experiences, UAP-related experiences, perceived contact experiences, and other experiences that may feel difficult to explain or share with others. I help clients explore these experiences with curiosity, grounding, emotional safety, and respect. As a bilingual therapist fluent in both Spanish and English, I can provide care in the language that feels most comfortable to each client.
I’m best suited to help people experiencing bereavement or significant life transitions who are seeking a compassionate, culturally aware, and holistic approach to healing. I work well with clients who value emotional safety, self-discovery, and a mind-body-spirit connection, as well as those who may feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or uncertain about how to move forward in their healing journey. I am also well-positioned to support clients who have experienced extraordinary, anomalous, or spiritually transformative events, including near-death experiences, UAP-related experiences, perceived contact experiences, or other experiences that may feel difficult to explain or share with others. I work best with clients who want to feel grounded, understood, and supported as they make meaning of their experiences, strengthen emotional resilience, and reconnect with themselves.
