LICSW, 15 years of experience
New to Grow
I’m here to support you in navigating life’s ups and downs with care, curiosity, and compassion. I hold a PhD and am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). I believe therapy should feel like a safe, welcoming space where you can be yourself, explore what’s on your mind, and discover new ways forward. My goal is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you work toward healing and growth.
Our first session will be a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain, and any questions or concerns you may have about the process. We’ll take things at your pace and work together to create a plan that feels right for you—whether that’s managing stress, building coping skills, or exploring deeper patterns in your life.
Clients often describe me as empathetic, patient, and down-to-earth. I take an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from different modalities depending on your unique needs. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, as well as a trauma-informed lens to ensure safety and compassion throughout the process. This flexibility allows me to provide both practical tools and deeper emotional support, creating a space where you feel understood, empowered, and equipped to grow.
I work best with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, or the impacts of trauma. I am also passionate about supporting clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, including those navigating challenges of identity, belonging, or systemic barriers. Whether you’re looking for strategies to manage day-to-day stress or a safe place to process deeper struggles, I’m committed to walking alongside you on your journey toward well-being.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By identifying unhelpful patterns and practicing new strategies, CBT provides practical, evidence-based tools for creating meaningful change and improving overall well-being
I provide culturally sensitive therapy that honors each client’s unique background, values, and experiences. This approach creates a respectful, inclusive space for healing and growth.
I integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients in building skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and healthy relationships.
I provide Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help clients process and heal from traumatic experiences. This evidence-based approach offers tools for recovery while fostering safety and resilience.
With Solution-Focused Therapy, I work with clients to build on strengths and identify practical steps toward their goals. This approach emphasizes progress and possibility in the present and future.
