I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over nine years of experience. I received my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Bridgewater State University. I have worked in community, residential, correctional, and outpatient settings. I am currently accepting adult clients. Together we can address issues you might be having with work, school, relationships, or other important things in your life.
Our first session provides a space to talk about background information and what brings you to therapy. I'll share what to expect from therapy to ensure you feel comfortable and supported. We'll identify your goals and work together over time to develop practical strategies to use in everyday life to help you achieve them.
I believe in creating an environment that is welcoming, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. As your therapist, I am committed to helping you feel empowered as you navigate life's challenges. I'm here to listen, understand, and offer support as you work towards growth, healing, and self-discovery.
My ideal clients are individuals who are looking to explore and better understand their emotional and physical well-being. I am experienced with supporting adults navigating life transitions, individuals struggling with stress or anxiety, adolescents dealing with life stressors, and individuals struggling with grief and loss. If you are ready to start your therapeutic journey, I look forward to hearing from you!
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
One of the approaches used in my practice is Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT) which helps individuals understand and change patterns of thinking and behaviors that may be causing distress. This can include changing bad habits, recognizing triggers to anxiety, or identifying unhelpful communication patterns. Together we can work to develop practical skills to use in everyday life to help you achieve your goals.
Trauma Informed Care
I strive to incorporate Trauma-Informed Care into my practice to create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for all. This framework recognizes the impact of trauma on mental, emotional, and physicial well-being and shapes how I approach every aspect of therapy. Together we can work towards long-term healing and resilience by learning practical coping skills and grounding techniques to use in everyday life.

Sarah is the third specialist that I have been with due to the fact the other two I didn’t feel offered what I was looking for. I have now been with Sarah for 5 weeks and it’s been a life changer. She checks all the boxes that I was looking for in a psychiatrist. She’s comforting, which needs to be. She’s very direct with me and that is something that I was looking for. I wasn’t looking for someone to agree with me all the time, she has been a god send to me each week.
