(she/her)
Hi, I’m Cindy. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming—you don’t have to do it alone. I’m a trauma-informed therapist and EMDR specialist helping adults work through anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges. In our work together, you’ll have a safe, supportive space to process what you’ve been through, calm your nervous system, and move forward with more clarity and confidence. Whether you’re facing divorce, loss, or feeling stuck and overwhelmed, I’m here to help you feel grounded and like yourself again—at a pace that feels right for you.
Your first session is a relaxed conversation—no preparation needed. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’d like to change. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and hopeful. And if I’m not the right fit, I’ll be honest and help connect you with the care that best meets your needs. Just an FYI, I am always nervous to meet you for the first appointment. It is normal to be anxious for the first session.
I offer a warm, supportive space with practical guidance to help you move beyond just talking and start creating real change. As a trauma-informed therapist and EMDR specialist, I help you understand what’s keeping you stuck and feel more grounded. I’m direct and compassionate, and clients often feel comfortable with me quickly. Together, we’ll break old patterns and help you feel more confident and in control.
I work best with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or anxious and are ready for real change. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions like divorce, relationship challenges, or loss, and want to better understand the patterns that keep them feeling the same. They value a therapist who is warm, supportive, and easy to talk to—but also honest and direct. If you’re open to doing deeper work, including trauma-focused approaches like EMDR, and want to feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your life, we’ll likely be a great fit.
EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a proven therapy that helps your brain heal from distressing or overwhelming experiences. Instead of just talking about what happened, EMDR uses gentle bilateral stimulation (like eye movements or tapping) to help your nervous system reprocess memories that feel “stuck.” Many clients find EMDR helps reduce emotional intensity, anxiety, and negative beliefs — so past experiences no longer feel so present. It’s structured, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel calmer, more grounded, and empowered moving forward.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and learn practical tools to challenge them, build healthier coping skills, and create positive change. CBT is goal-focused, structured, and designed to help you feel more in control of your emotions and daily life.
Interpersonal
Interpersonal Therapy focuses on how your relationships and life changes affect your mood and emotional well-being. Together, we look at patterns in communication, boundaries, grief, role transitions, and conflict. The goal is to strengthen healthy relationships, improve how you express your needs, and reduce symptoms like anxiety or depression by building stronger connection and support in your everyday life.

Cindy has helped me get through the toughest time of my life. I have experienced immense loss and grief and she has helped put that in perspective and validate my feelings. The EMDR was intense but has had an amazing impact on getting me past these traumatic events.

I’ve met with Cindy once but she was great just when meeting her. I did t feel any resistance to my needs even though she was direct and structured in her guidance. I feel safe and comfortable so far.
