Hello, I'm Karen and I am so happy that you have made this first step of seeking what might help whatever situation you are in. It's a big step, and not taken lightly. Therapy effectiveness is known to work best when it feels like the right fit for you, and you are in a place in your life to move forward with it. I have been doing this for a minute, and know how much change can come about walking alongside you on this journey. I have worked in outpatient settings, managed counseling programs, private practice, schools, drug treatment, crisis response, elder care, and at-risk settings. While I have skill sets in those areas, I feel that working with anxiety, trauma, grief, ADHD , and adjustments to life's circumstances are particularly strong attributes for me.

Greetings! I'm Michelle, and I am so happy you are taking this step on your wellness journey. We want to live our best lives. However, things can sometimes get in the way. We often feel as though our emotions are spiraling out of control, or that we are walking on eggshells trying to avoid negative interactions with those around us. We may be struggling to cope with the effects of trauma or feelings of worry, hopelessness, or detachment. We might have a loved one who is experiencing a chronic physical or mental health condition that influences our emotional well-being. These challenges can impact us in many ways. It is not uncommon to feel stuck or overwhelmed. Sometimes we may even feel as if our very identity is defined by the problems we are facing. You may feel isolated ashamed, or unsure of how to move forward. I love joining my clients on their healing journey. I help them identify the areas in their life that are preventing them from embracing their self-worth and potential. I use storytelling and art to separate the problem from the person. Utilizing evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy will help you get to the root of the problem and develop skills to regain control. When working with children, adolescents, and teens I use my training in Play Therapy to create an experience that is relevant and engaging for younger clients. My job is to be a safe harbor while you grow during this process. I work with children, adolescents, and caregivers as they improve their sense of well-being, safety, happiness, recovery, and health. I’ve worked with many youth and caregivers who are missing out on the joy of living. My passion is helping youth and caregivers find the best parts of themselves and grow to love themselves again. Contact me today for a free consultation and we’ll get started on your journey together.

Have you ever asked yourself, "why don't I feel good about myself and my choices in life?" I want to help you explore those feelings and get to the root cause so we can reveal the parts of you that feel alive and whole again. Do you remember the hopes and dreams you had as a child? What happened to those dreams? It could be life events or circumstances, some that were out of your control and some that you made consciously or unconsciously. If you have experienced trauma, sexual trauma, this can contribute to your mental, physical, and emotional struggles. Sexual trauma is not easy to discuss, as it is a taboo topic, and you may not find you can share your story with your friends and family. Secrecy is part of the toxic shame that often leads to issues with self-esteem, relationships, intimacy, and other behavioral problems. Every person has the answers within themselves to reveal the shiny pearl in the bed of a sandy oyster. I can help you if you are ready to do the work of personal growth and healing.

While maintaining the person in the environment perspective throughout my career, I supported antiracist policies, ideas, and actions. This is why I continue to practice in a manner that promotes self-awareness and self-reflectiveness for myself and with clients in a healing journey to self-care and resilience. I believe it is important to use narrative therapy and other therapies with the theory of intersectionality to remain person-centered. My practice is also focused on treating trauma and/or race-based stress that has shaped a person’s inner world; so the use of Feminist therapy, Queer Theory, and Liberation Psychology are introduced as appropriate. I use solution-focused and cognitive behavioral techniques to assist with concerns. Solution-focused techniques work well for individuals who present to reduce or relieve their symptoms. Cognitive therapy works best for individuals who have issues related to negative and unsuccessful patterns of behavior and make plans to change those patterns. My goal is to assist individuals with applying these strategies to their current goals and plan of action for change.

Hello I’m LaKeina but you can call me Keina Have you ever felt like you were drowning due to all of your responsibilities? But you have to get things done because there is no one to do what needs to be done but you. Maybe you are struggling with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, processing trauma and or adverse emotions. If so there is hope, you are not alone as I will support you and assist you with developing appropriate coping skills. Sometimes our circumstances and mental state can detour us from being our best selves. However, we are all human and can all use help and support that is consistent. Many suffer in depression, anxiety and with processing trauma. There is a way to actively manage these conditions and relieve yourself from the guilt and shame that your emotions or your diagnosis may have produced over time. It will be my pleasure to support you with identifying the source of your adverse emotions, identifying the root and then from there assist you with properly processing. Therapy with me is not a dictatorship you will take the lead as no one knows you better than you know yourself. My role is to support you, encourage you and cheer you on as you go from struggling to actively managing!

Hi, I’m Rachel! Do you ever wonder why your kids struggle so much in school, have a hard time making/keeping friends, or have a difficult time following the same daily routines that are expected of them every day? Have you received multiple evaluations of them, but still feel lost in how to parent them? I get it. I’m not only an Autism and ADHD Specialist for both kids and adults ages 5-65yo, but I’m also a mom of neurodivergent kiddos. I work with children/teens/adults with varying presentations, who almost always have some level of anxiety, depression, trauma etc. I’m here to help support you and focus on what matters most. I also work with children and teens who do not have neurodivergent brains, but rather may have behavioral difficulties at home/school; issues with school refusal, significant degrees of anxiety and/or depression, overuse of social media and struggle in their parent/child relationships. I provide both individual and family therapy and believe that rapport with my clients and understanding their personal goals is what will make the most progress. I also specialize in life transitions, assisting teens in moving toward independence and the next steps in young adulthood. This includes career counseling, which I provide to adults of all ages.

Hello, I'm Dr. Steffanie. Do you feel like you have no one to talk to? Do your friends and family have a hard time understanding you? Do you have trouble removing sad, negative thoughts from your mind? Are you on edge and find that everything bothers you? Do you have a past that you want to process? Are you experiencing Christian-related concerns? If you answered yes to any of the above, I'm here to walk this path with you in individual therapy. I utilize an eclectic, relational/psychodynamic approach during individual psychotherapy. I will assist you with getting to the root of the problem that has your present life in turmoil. We'll work together to find effective solutions and ways to cope with negative thoughts and feelings, friends, family, co-workers, and everyday life. You are here for a reason. You are not alone. My particular approach works well with clients who need to be seen weekly and not on a drop-in basis. Additionally, my approach does not work well with addiction challenges, substance use/abuse, and pain management challenges. Please choose another provider if you are looking for assistance with those challenges. If you are seeking someone to sign off on FMLA, EDD, SSI, Emotional Support Animal, time off work, Leave of Absence, accommodations, housing, ETC., I will refer you to your medical doctor and/or provider who you meet with in person. It is my policy not to write letters nor sign off on the above mentioned documents nor document similar to the above. ***Please complete and submit the Intake Paperwork 24 hours before your scheduled session. Please schedule yourself on the top of an hour (i.e. 3pm, 4pm, 5pm). I cannot accommodate appointments on the half hour (i.e. 3:30pm, 4:30pm, 5:30pm).

Hello, I am Chung, a bi-lingual Vietnamese licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in California with over 20 years of experience in mental health field. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, grief & loss, PTSD, anger & stress management, relationship issues, substance abuse, parenting problems, individual with special needs, career challenges, OCD & ADHD, bi-polar, BPD, schizophrenia, etc. However, I don't accept couple/family at this time. I also don't provide any verification letter. I believe in working in partnership with clients, utilizing their strengths to help them sort out their challenges and achieve their goals. I also realize how important it is to identify all aspects of an individual’s life that impact their well-being including their physical health, support systems (family, friends), work or school environment, faith & spirituality in this process. I think when people have hope and can learn to challenge and replace irrational thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes, people are free to experience change. Everyone needs courage to take the first step to change. If you are ready and willing to take this step, please don't hesitant to book a virtual appointment with me by calling +1 (786) 755-1863, or emailing reception+LCSW13768@growtherapy.com I'm looking forward to working with you!

I’m Steven Frank. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), licensed in California and living in Seattle, Washington. The way the law works is that if I have a California license, I can live outside of California, but can only work with California residents. For that reason, all my work is performed online through telehealth. I see adults and senior adults in my practice and my work is with individuals. I’ve been licensed since 1983 but actually began to “grow” a private practice beginning in 1990. While most of my experience has been with clients dealing with depression and anxiety, over the last 4-5 years I’ve been more focused on the treatment for symptoms of trauma and abuse. I’ve been trained in EMDR (a specific treatment for trauma), and will use that method as needed, when appropriate, and with your understanding of the process, and consent. By the way, my first job experience (before beginning my schooling for the MFT license), was in the California State Hospital system as a psychiatric technician. I was a member of a hospital inpatient treatment team that treated people with severe mental disorders. This was excellent training for working with clients who are seeking help, but on an outpatient basis.
