Hello, I’m Giovanna. Whether you have been struggling with mental health problems most of your life or are experiencing some personal hardships and are looking for help, you have come to the right place. I have experience working with adolescents, transitional age youth, adults and older adults dealing with mood disorders, anxiety, psychosis, trauma, personality disorders, developmental disorders, and substance use as well as with those going through life transitions and struggling finding their way.
In our first session, I will start by reviewing guidelines for therapy and confidentiality. Then, I will gather information about you, history, current symptoms and treatment goals. I will also provide psycho-education on presenting problems and treatment options.
I use a variety of approaches and strategies tailored to your preferences and style.
I create the space for you to be you and to be seen without judgments.
