I will spend the majority of an initial session gathering general background information to help me gain insight, to help determine fit and is appropriate for Telehealth. It’s best to use a laptop/desktop when starting the appointment, rather than a tablet or cell phone. Google Chrome is preferred browser (as opposed to Safari, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge). I utilize CBT strategies to help clients explore & identify thought/behavior patterns that may be contributing to emotional distress. There's often good opportunities to make updates to thought/behavior patterns to feel better, more resilient and better able to cope with stress or difficulties.
