Are you struggling with anxiety or feelings of depression? As a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I can help guide you through these uncomfortable feelings and support you in reaching your mental health goals. I graduated in 2016 from California State University, Northridge, with a Master of Science in Counseling, Option in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have worked among many different clinical settings (schools, substance use disorder treatment, crisis settings, and private practice). My goal is to guide you to develop tools and insights to help you navigate life's challenges and lead your most fulfilling life.
In our first session together, we'll introduce ourselves, discuss challenges you have been facing in your life, and establish goals for treatment.
I am calm, empathic, and supportive. I am passionate about mental health and enjoy working with clients to help them overcome their challenges.
I specialize in helping individuals manage and overcome anxiety and depression. Whether you're dealing with daily stress, chronic worry, or the weight of a low mood, I offer compassionate evidenced-based strategies to help you feel more in control and connected to your life again.
I utilize CBT in therapy to help clients struggling with anxiety and/or depression learn to identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts. I have utilized CBT in various clinical settings in both group and individual therapy sessions.
I utilize DBT to help clients learn distress tolerance skills, effective interpersonal skills, and emotion regulation. I have experience utilizing DBT as a treatment modality in group and individual therapy sessions, in various clinical settings.
EMDR is a powerful method for addressing deeper emotional wounds and unresolved trauma. EMDR can target the root cause of distress and facilitates deep healing in a way that talk therapy alone may not reach.

I have been trying to manage a lot of challenging life situations on my own for several months, and Holly is one of the first people with whom I've spoken regarding these issues. I was nervous to start the session and had emotions ranging from grief to anger to guilt. I didn't really know where to start. Holly listened attentively, created a safe space for me to blurt everything out, and then worked with me to set practical, realistic goals for the coming week. I am hopeful for our work together
