Great to meet you! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I’m really glad you’re here. Reaching out for support isn’t always easy, so taking this step already says a lot about your willingness to grow. I work with clients navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and patterns that can feel hard to break. If you’ve ever felt stuck in the same cycles or unsure why certain things keep coming up, you’re not alone — and that’s exactly the kind of work we can explore together.
Our first session is about getting to know you and what brought you here. We’ll explore what’s been challenging, what you hope might be different, and which approaches feel most helpful for you. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of direction, practical next steps, and the reassurance that you don’t have to do this alone. Sessions combine thoughtful reflection, practical coping tools, and supportive accountability, all tailored to your goals.
I take an integrative, client-centered approach, which means I don’t follow a one-size-fits-all method or stick rigidly to one type of therapy. Instead, I pay close attention to what you need in the moment and adapt our work from there. Sometimes we’ll focus on building practical tools and coping strategies, and other times we’ll slow down to look at deeper patterns, relationships, and past experiences that may be shaping how you feel today. Clients often tell me they appreciate having a space where they can not only talk things through, but also gain new perspectives, connect the dots, and better understand themselves. I see therapy as a collaborative process — I’ll listen, offer insight, and gently challenge you when it’s helpful, all with the goal of creating meaningful, lasting change.
I specialize in supporting individuals grappling with a range of challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, and the overwhelming pressures that life often presents. My therapeutic approach is well-suited for those seeking assistance in navigating these complex and common struggles. Whether you are dealing with the weight of depressive feelings, facing anxiety, going through significant life changes, or wrestling with the demands of relationships and daily responsibilities, I am here to provide a supportive and understanding space. My goal is to collaboratively work with clients, empowering them to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and foster positive transformations in their lives.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Our thoughts shape how we experience the world, and sometimes, unhelpful thought patterns can keep us feeling stuck. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we’ll explore the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors—helping you recognize patterns that may be holding you back. I take a practical, no-nonsense approach to CBT, focusing on real-world strategies that you can apply in daily life. Together, we’ll work on identifying negative thought loops, challenging unhelpful beliefs, and replacing them with more balanced, constructive perspectives. This isn’t about forced positivity—it’s about giving you tools to navigate challenges with clarity and confidence.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Life moves fast, and it’s easy to get caught up in anxious thoughts about the future or regrets from the past. Mindfulness-Based Therapy helps you slow down, tune in, and respond to life with more awareness and intention. In our work together, I integrate practical mindfulness techniques—like simple breathing exercises, guided reflection, and body awareness—to help you develop a stronger connection to the present moment. No need to be an expert in meditation—this is about finding small, manageable ways to quiet the mental noise and build a greater sense of self-compassion.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Sometimes, you don’t need to relive the past—you just need a clear plan to move forward. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is all about identifying what’s working, building on your strengths, and creating actionable steps to help you get where you want to be. If you’re feeling stuck, this approach helps cut through the overwhelm and focus on practical, achievable solutions. Instead of endlessly analyzing problems, we’ll zero in on what’s within your control, set clear goals, and develop strategies that create real change.
