New clients continue care with this provider
I'm an LPCC credentialed in California, holding an MA in Counseling from LMU. With four years of experience in community mental health, I help clients feel heard, validated, and empowered to manage life's stressors. I believe in a strong therapeutic alliance, often using humor to reframe and process clinical challenges. I understand that therapeutic progress can be slow-paced, and significant change unfolds over time. My priority is to foster a secure and trusting relationship in sessions, creating a space where clients feel safe enough to engage in a truly transformative experience.
During our initial sessions, we'll start with introductions, review important policies, and conduct a thorough assessment of the specific challenges you're experiencing. Together, we'll then collaboratively develop a plan to guide our work moving forward.
My therapeutic approach is non-judgmental and non-directive, focused on helping clients cultivate self-esteem and empowering them to develop the skills and insights needed to resolve issues with greater autonomy and psychological freedom. Additionally, I am conversational in Mandarin.
My passion lies in supporting young adults as they navigate the complexities of relationships and significant life transitions. I work with clients who are committed to finding hope, overcoming challenges, and cultivating more emotional ease in their lives. A key part of our work often involves identifying the underlying mental and emotional triggers and dilemmas that contribute to their struggles. *Therapy appointments are scheduled on a weekly recurring basis; I don't offer bi-weekly or monthly frequencies. *Please cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours before your scheduled time to avoid an $80 late fee. *To maintain consistency, I can hold your appointment slot for one week following a cancellation. However, please be aware that two consecutive cancellations will unfortunately mean you'll lose your standing appointment time and may result in discharge from services.
