Attachment-based

I have extensive training and experience using Attachment Base Family Therapy Model 3 years working as a Primary Therapist for Newport Healthcare Residential Treatment Program for adolescents Boys and Girls. I apply this model in my practice by Identifying Strengths and understanding the context of the family's life, Assess the presenting problem/diagnose, shifting attachment themes, exploring caused of ruptures, Explore Consequences of Ruptures, elicit and amplify desire for greater connections agreeing to repair attachment relationship as the goal of therapy.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive training and experience using CBT in my 11 plus years of providing therapy. I assist clients with how thoughts and feelings impact feelings and ultimately, behaviors. My goal is to help the client recognize this pattern and then try to change the thought or the way they think about the problem as cognitive restructuring. This can ultimately change the behavior so that the client can move towards their goal.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have extensive training and experience using CBT in my 11 plus years of providing therapy. I utilize DBT particularly to provide skills for managing intense emotions and negotiating social relationships, depression, substance use, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety etc. to curb the self-destructive impulses of chronic suicidal patients, borderline personality disorder, and emotion dysregulation. Strength-Based

I have extensive training and experience using strength Base in my 11+ years of providing therapy. I utilize internal strengths and resourcefulness, rather than on individual weaknesses, failures, and shortcomings. This shift of focus and reframing sets up a positive mindset that helps the client build on their best qualities, find they strength improve resilience, and change their worldview to one that is more positive. My hope is to discuss the patient’s problems is to discover the inner strengths so that the clients can tap into in order to build solutions.
