Licensed to practice in California and accepts 28 insurances. Specializes in Anxiety, Depression, Life Transitions and 3 more.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Orange County, CA. For almost 10 years, I have worked in various settings with teens and young adults to help them build resilience, healthy coping mechanisms, and learn to process emotions. I create a non-judgmental environment to support each client in their exploration of what led them to seek therapy. Through insight and awareness, clients can feel more empowered and find a deeper sense of self.
Our first session will be about building trust and getting to know each other. Open communication will help me to gain a better understanding of your life, passions, strengths, and concerns. I emphasize the collaborative process and create space for exploration and questions.
I communicate in a genuine, warm, and personable manner. I authentically engage with clients and use humor when appropriate. I strive to make each client feel supported, safe and understood.
I specialize in working with teens and young adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, mood dysregulation, life changes, and stress. I use a trauma-informed, strength-based approach to meet each client where they are at and build upon skills they already possess.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use ACT in sessions to help clients process difficult feelings by accepting what comes up, not fusing with every thought that comes in, and letting go of control to help alleviate anxiety.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT to help clients accept thoughts without becoming overwhelmed. Using different skills, clients can increase their distress tolerance and emotional regulation.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients address negative core beliefs and use cognitive reframing to decrease negative thoughts.
