Most of all, you're ready to rediscover your true confident self. Let's throw political correctness out, get down to business, cut through the BS, and help you solve your problems. I specialize in helping anxious over-achieving people-pleasers create peaceful and fulfilling lives. I offer individual therapy, couples therapy, marriage counseling, and relationship coaching for couples and individuals. I specialize in affair aftermath, communications issues, and intimacy.

When we feel overwhelmed, depressed, or stagnant it can be difficult to reach out. When we feel lost in our relationships, our careers, or question our purpose in life, we may not feel satisfied or content. If we think our loved ones don't understand us, or we’re afraid to open up to them, we may become isolated and lonely. If we catch ourselves in addictive cycles or patterns, we feel defeated because nothing we’ve tried seems to be working. Maybe we battle with anxiety and depression; unable to get out of bed. If only we could learn a different way. If this resonates with you, there is a way through.

Emotional and mental health are just as important as the physical health of a human being. The emotional trauma that a brain endures in various of the human life cycle can be damaging and in the long run, just as detrimental as a psychical illness. People donate their organs, but they cannot donate their brains. Some people live with human-made hearts, but there is no such thing as human-made brains. I believe that our brain is the most important organ in our human body, so why don’t we start taking good care of it? ♥️ Therapy is not only for people with mental illness. Therapy is for everyone. Are you experiencing challenges that are interfering with your emotional health and wellbeing? Do you feel your past experiences are affecting your ability to reach your full potential? Do you need a safe space to process your thoughts and feelings and engage in self exploration? I am a licensed psychotherapist who believes the most important catalyst for change is the relationship between therapist and client. My goal is to partner with you to reach your desired goals in a therapeutic environment. We will take the necessary steps together to foster positive change while creating individual strategies for self-empowerment. I have been trained in EMDR therapy which is a theory based on the belief that our brains have a natural system for processing information and experiences so that we can keep what we need for wisdom, learning, and growth. Sometimes disturbing experiences overwhelm the processing system, or we don't have the information we need for our brains to make sense of what happened in a healthy way. EMDR uses eye movements and other right-left stimulation to activate your brain's processing system so you can successfully process the experience and let go of what's not useful to you. I believe our past effects our present and future- both in adaptative and maladaptive ways. I would be honored to be a part of your journey to inner peace, self-love, and fulfillment.

Hello there, my name is Mariana, and I am here to help you reach your goals. Working in the Mental health, and substance use field for the past 10 years has taught me healing does not necessarily come from one path. Based on the positive outcomes and feedback with those I have treated, I use an integrative healthcare approach, I assess the whole person including body, mind, and spirit in the context of community, considering lifestyle and habits; I work by looking at the whole person and not just symptoms. This leads us to being able to identify and to work on the challenges experienced through a lifetime. I believe that wellbeing is a general state of "contentment" with life and the way things are. In this state of contentment, we experience a sense of balance and connection to a purpose. In my practice I explore with you the main areas of wellbeing and the blockages that have been impeding you to reach your best. I see therapy as a teamwork between you and me in where you share your own experiences and I provide my clinical expertise to implement an individualized plan that works for you. I can provide therapy in Spanish or English. I work mainly using tele therapy in the state of Florida. I am a psychologist in Colombia, South America, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I am also certified to work with trauma, and hold a certification to diagnose and treat personality disorders. I am also a qualified supervisor for graduate students seeking to obtain their master’s degree in mental health. If you still have other questions about therapy in general or want to know more about me and my professional approach, please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss further and for you to identify if we can be a good fit. I strongly believe that having a good rapport between therapist and client is very important for therapy outcomes. I hope to hear from you soon.

Life is not easy. We have all been through at least one event that affected us in a way where it follows us and finds ways to get our attention. For a lot of us this may be depression and anxiety. Lack of a sense of identity. Trying to survive in a world where we are told to live and think a certain way. But at the end of the day, we are all different; built with our own unique energetic and genetic blueprint. So how in any way can each of us follow the same path, the same way of living? My specific focus is working with individuals to break down walls. Understand how past events might be affecting them today in their relationship dynamics, their career, why they make the choices they make. Setting a path to find themselves and be the best versions of themselves. This might involve tapping into their creativity and not being afraid to dream. I highly encourage using one's imagination. A lot of those whom struggle with depression and anxiety have nervous systems that are in constant survival and are not even aware of that. I work with clients on finding modalities to help them break out of survival mode and feel safe in their daily lives. My approach is more holistic: mind/body/spirit. My preferred practice is spiritually based, but I am happy to work with those whom do not prefer that approach. Ultimately, I'm here to guide those looking for their true selves!
