Welcome! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Palm Beach Florida. I received my Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in 2002 and have been working in the mental health field since then. I have over 20 years of clinical experience and I have worked in various settings, in multicultural environments and basically all ages. I am Hispanic and fluent in Spanish.
The first session will include introductions, explanation of confidentiality and information gathering. You will be able to share about the issues leading to therapy and your expectations and goals, and this will help me create a plan for us to work through in future sessions.
I have a lot of empathy, I'm very down to earth and relatable. I treat my clients with respect and will never judge you. I have extensive clinical experience and I'm very well informed about resources in the community.
I enjoy working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, stress related issues, family conflicts, low self-esteem and clients who need empowerment and guidance to achieve their physical, mental and personal goals.
