New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting children, teens, and adults. My approach is grounded in empathy, validation, and active listening, creating a safe and supportive space for healing and growth. Together, we’ll work at your pace to understand your story, build resilience, and strengthen emotional regulation skills. I have extensive experience helping individuals and families navigate and heal from traumatic experiences, and I strive to empower each client with tools and insights that foster lasting change
In our first session, I’ll complete a thorough assessment that includes your medical and social history, as well as screenings for depression and anxiety. More importantly, I want to hear your story—why you’ve decided to seek counseling at this time and what you hope to gain from it—so we can create a plan that feels meaningful and tailored to your needs.
As a therapist, I bring over a decade of experience supporting children, teens, and adults through life’s challenges. What makes my approach unique is the balance I offer between clinical expertise and genuine compassion. I take time to understand the whole person, beginning with a thorough first session that explores your medical and social history, while also centering your story and what has brought you to therapy at this point in your life. My work is grounded in empathy, validation, and active listening, creating a safe and supportive space where you can move at your own pace. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, psychoanalytic insight, and trauma-focused practices, tailoring each session to fit your needs rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model. I have extensive experience helping individuals and families heal from traumatic experiences, and my trauma-informed perspective allows me to approach each session with sensitivity and care. What sets me apart is my commitment to helping you not only reduce symptoms, but also build resilience, strengthen emotional regulation, and gain lasting tools for growth. Clients often share that they feel fully heard, respected, and supported in our work together—and it’s this combination of evidence-based strategies and heartfelt connection that makes therapy with me both effective and meaningful.
Whether you're a parent worried about your child’s emotional well-being or an adult navigating grief, depression, or stress, you're not alone. I'm here to help you feel supported, understood, and empowered to make real, lasting change in your life or your child’s. You deserve a space where you feel safe exploring what’s holding you back and how to move forward with confidence.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding. Together, we explore the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and practice practical strategies you can use in daily life to reduce stress, improve coping, and build lasting change.
I incorporate mindfulness to help clients slow down, become more present, and build awareness of their thoughts and emotions without judgment. Through simple practices like grounding, breathing, and mindful reflection, clients learn to manage stress, reduce anxiety, and create more space for calm and clarity in their daily lives
I use Motivational Interviewing to support clients in exploring their own values, goals, and motivation for change. This approach is collaborative and nonjudgmental, helping clients strengthen their confidence and uncover their own reasons for making positive shifts in their lives
I draw from psychoanalytic approaches to help clients explore how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns may influence their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By increasing self-awareness and understanding the roots of challenges, clients can gain new insights and create healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
I am currently training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), which is a specialized approach for processing and healing from trauma for children ages 3-18. I draw on its principles to create a safe, supportive space where clients can begin to understand the impact of past experiences, build coping skills, and work toward recovery at their own pace.
