Hello, my name is Lynne Pearl and I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in FL. I received my Masters from Springfield College in Massachusetts. I have been practicing for 14 years. I help adults struggling with substance misuse and other mental health concerns become the best versions of themselves in an accepting environment where clients can feel safe to explore their thoughts and feelings.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then we can explore the challenges you're facing and what goals you want to achieve from therapy. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

EMDR is a structured, evidence-based therapeutic intervention that helps individuals reprocess traumatic memories, reducing their emotional impact and associated symptoms. Through a series of phases involving bilateral stimulation and cognitive processing, clients can achieve significant relief from distress and develop healthier beliefs about themselves and their experiences.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I take pleasure in working with adults facing various challenges. My clients are motivated to improve but lack the necessary tools to achieve their goals. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed, and anxious about their life circumstances.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I believe in a counseling philosophy and approach that is both client-centered and solution-focused and creates a balanced therapeutic environment where clients feel heard and supported while being actively guided towards achieving their goals. This dual approach maximizes the potential for positive change by combining the strengths of empathetic understanding with practical, goal-oriented strategies.

EMDR

When a traumatic event occurs, it can overwhelm the brain's natural ability to process and integrate the experience. These unprocessed memories and associated stimuli can lead to symptoms such as flashbacks, anxiety, and other emotional disturbances. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapeutic intervention designed to help individuals process and recover from traumatic experiences and other distressing life events.
