I am a licensed psychologist in Florida, and I am PysPact credentialed to provide telehealth services in other states. I have extensive experience working with clients struggling with everyday stressors, anxiety, trauma, depression, personality disorders, and Bipolar Disorders. I have worked in various settings, including community mental health settings, residential treatment, and private practice. I offer empathetic and compassionate therapy, dedicated to personal growth and emotional well-being. My practice uses evidence-based methods tailored to individual needs. My therapeutic approach is person-centered, which involves tailoring plans to meet your specific needs and objectives. I strive to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment for you to express your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we will collaborate to identify and address the underlying causes of your concerns and explore potential solutions.
Our first session will look a little different than all of the rest of our sessions. In the first session, I'll ask you a lot of questions, get to know you, and establish rapport. In an attempt to understand how you would navigate through life. The subsequent sessions will be more person-centered, meaning we will discuss what you bring to the table and what you find relevant for that session. I will help guide you throughout the session, and we will process the emotions that you bring.
I have extensive experience in assisting individuals with a variety of struggles. My approach focuses on person-centered, strengths-based, solution-focused, and trauma-informed methods. Together, we can rediscover your inner strength and resilience to navigate challenges and thrive.
Life often feels like a series of challenges, with stress affecting many areas. These stresses can be overwhelming, whether it’s new situations, work obligations, family duties, or relationship issues. In such times, reclaiming your sense of self or growing into who you want to be may seem impossible. I am here to provide guidance and support. Everyone experiences challenging times, but assistance is available. Although taking the step to seek help may seem intimidating, I am here to offer the necessary support when you are ready. You are encouraged to reach out, take the initial step, and begin the process of healing and growth with guidance.
I’ve been practicing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice for the past nine years. It has been incredibly helpful in assisting dozens of clients in challenging recurring thoughts and effectively managing their anxiety. We will employ CBT to identify the interconnectedness of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Armed with this knowledge, we will then work together to modify your thinking patterns, ultimately leading to a less anxious and stressed life.
I’ve been utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in my practice for the past nine years. It has been incredibly helpful in assisting dozens of clients in managing their strong emotions and improving their relationships. We will use DBT to improve emotion regulation. Prepared with these skills, we will then work together to regulate your emotional responses and improve the quality of your interpersonal relationships.
I help clients feel empowered by using methods that are person-centered, strengths-based, solution-focused, and trauma-informed. Together, we’ll work on examining areas of your life to facilitate positive change and growth.
