Hi! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) located in Ocala, Florida. I recieved my Masters degree from the University at Bufallo in the Sate of New York. I've been practcing for 40 years and work with people of all ages who are struggling with anxiety and depression. I utilize cognitive behavior therapy, active listening and support to help clients gain coping skills and independence. Everyone deserves to become the best version of themselves, feel good and make healthy decisions.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session, we will get to know each other. We'll start with a brief introduction, dive into the specific challenges and develop a plan for us to work through during the follow up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked with many clients over the past 40 years, i feel as though my strengths are my compassion, empathy, ability to listen and to help my clients identify their challenges and create a plan to help them live the life that they want to live.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with people who are ready to make changes in their lives. My clients are motivated to improve themselves, but lack the tools to do so. They oftn feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their lives. I am here to help them.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used CBT over the past 40 years when working with individual and groups for depression, anxiety, PTSD, suicidal ideation, social anxiety and most everything else.

Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is very good with clients who have personality disorders. It can be used in group and iondividual sessions. I have used this treatment method of the past 10 years.

Family Therapy

I have enjoyed helping families learn how to to communicate with each other for the past 40 years. Families often need help figuring out what their priorities are. I see myself as a mediator as I am a good listener and a good and caring therapist.
