When it comes to facing transitions in life, things can get difficult to manage. Although it can seem daunting and overwhelming at the onset of sessions, by the end of our therapy experience, together we will work on coping skills to address any concerns that may arise in the present and future. I started working in the Social Work field with children and families in the child welfare realm. I've continued the journey in the community health space with pregnant and parenting women and families. Throughout this time, I've continuously provided individual therapy to children and adults helping clients eliminate or diminish barriers that inhibit personal success. Seeking therapy can be scary at first but we will work together to remove the fear and gain access to successes that you didn't know were possible. I'd love to help you get to your level. You only need to take the first step!

Hello I hope all is well but if not I'm definitely here to lend my services to help. My name is Christian I believe the therapeutic alliance with my clients is very important component of the treatment process. I work alongside my clients to help them through life difficulties such as major life changes, anxiety, family trauma, and depression. I love to assess what is helping and not helping my clients, then find unique clinical interventions that make real positive change. Small positive changes can lead to big changes. I'm an eclectic when it comes to using different therapy modalities. I like to use therapeutic games at times to foster a safe place for my clients to talk about the root of the issues at hand.

Hi, I'm Ashley! I help women tap into their resilience, restore hope, and transform their lives with authenticity, compassion, and a passion for seeing women thrive. I like to consider myself THE therapist for women. My mission is to help individuals navigate life’s difficulties to become the best possible versions of themselves. Both my clinical and personal experiences have taught me that, though we cannot control everything, we can control our behaviors, perspectives, beliefs, actions, and HEALING. I plan to equip you with the tools needed to promote your overall well-being and facilitate lasting positive change. I hold sessions with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and difficulty navigating challenges and transitions. However, I specialize in perinatal mental health and infertility. In addition, I run a support group for women struggling with infertility. Through additional training and certifications, I have and continue to develop a variety of tools to support you, and I may use different techniques during our work together. Accordingly, my approach is best described as client-centered and strengths-based, drawing also on theories and strategies of cognitive-behavioral therapy. When I am not practicing as a therapist, I am spending time with my family. We love to stuff our faces with tasty food and find new adventures. I also dabble in wedding photography as a creative outlet. But generally, you will find me advocating for women struggling with infertility and all the experiences it brings. I can't wait to work with you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Delaware. I’ve been working in the field of behavioral health since 2003. I have experience with in a variety of settings and with a diverse group of clients. I believe evidence based practice is the most beneficial to those I work with in therapy. CBT is invaluable and will teach us how to refocus, identify thinking errors and learn how our belief system determines how we feel and is the foundation of most of the decisions we make. I also believe active listening through reflection of feeling, confirming thought and ensuring validation is the foundation of therapy.

I am trauma informed and trained as well as have trained over 200 therapists nationally regarding the impact of trauma on our attachments and relationships. I know both personally and professionally how important healthy, meaningful relationships are to our overall well-being. I have extensive knowledge on the impact of trauma when we desire loving supportive connections. I desire to create a "safe haven" where individuals can feel a sense of calm in the storms of their traumatic relationships to explore, process and heal the broken pieces of our hearts when our connections hurt rather than support.

Hi there, I'm Marquisha. Do the stigmas or fictional criteria to participate in therapy often get in the way of seeking help? Need some self-care tips? Are you a student-athlete or workout enthusiast struggling with balancing mental and physical wellness? Well, I have a mantra that says therapy is for everyone. It can be the ultimate self-care approach since it can be hard trying to find time to think of ways to balance our daily duties, emotional well-being and our relationships in healthy ways. Dedicating 45-50 minutes out of your busy schedule to just process your thoughts, self-reflect, and focus your awareness can offer insight into managing your worries. Afraid to feel judged? I understand. These sessions will be client-centered and attention will be focused on your needs and desires using a reflective listening ear. Mental and physical wellness go hand in hand. I desire to empower clients to find a safe space to work on building healthy mental and physical wellness routines to manage anxiety, trauma, relationships, or work stress/burnout. I'll meet you with empathy and compassion when practicing healing or positive self-conceptualization. Let's goal plan, identify your support systems, or reframe perspectives on problems. Let's build your mental health toolbox together with trauma and solution-focused- evidence-based practices and practical coping strategies. I am already rooting for you.

Hello there, I'm Chelsea. Do you struggle with the monster in your head telling you that you're unworthy, lazy, or unlovable? Did you experience really hard things and it's making it difficult to maintain healthy relationships, set boundaries, be kind to yourself, or manage your feelings? Or are you and your partner or family struggling to communicate? You deserve to feel worthy and can have a healthier relationship. I help families understand the good intentions of one another so they can work towards more effective interactions. I also help people increase their self-esteem and identify elements of healthy relationships. I create a safe space for people to feel heard and identify the root of where they get stuck individually and with families. I'd be honored to be able to help you grow as a person.

Tired of doing the same thing and expecting different results? Tired of feeling like you're going in circles? I work with clients to change their lives by identifying unhealthy patterns and creating new healthy ways of living. If you're willing to do the work, I will walk alongside you to make a real change. Therapy is a cooperative venture with responsibility resting on both the therapist and the client. The therapy approach that I utilize includes the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. The goal of therapy is to bring renewal and enhance the quality of life. In general, the beginning stage of therapy involves identifying the issues by which you are troubled. The second stage involves gaining insights into patterns of emotions, thoughts, and behaviors related to your problems that will help you begin to make needed changes. In the last stage, you will be encouraged to actively apply and solidify new insights and skills to facilitate change in yourself and your life situations. The duration of therapy depends on many factors unique to your situation. Experience shows that those who are motivated to work on their problems, engage in sessions, and complete homework assignments, see the greatest improvement most quickly.

TaMara brings a wealth of experience in an unconventional way. As a former owner of a home healthcare company, that primarily provided services to the elderly, TaMara found herself assisting families, particularly adult children, who had to make tough healthcare and financial decisions for their parent(s). She helped families establish goals on how best to support their parents in maintaining dignity and independence while simultaneously identifying the next steps in the event of their parents’ passing. While families had to come to terms with the physical, mental, and/or psychological changes seen in their parents, taking on the parental role was quite emotionally challenging for adult children. TaMara supported the entire family in managing these delicate issues.

I enjoy empowering people and digging out their strengths. I don't ask fish to fly, neither do I ask birds to swim. I respect everyone's strengths and help my client be aware of their strengths. I love to highlight my client's strengths. I offer a safe, warm, therapeutic, judgment-free space for Adults (18+) and Older Adults (65+). I am sorry, but I do not accept clients who pay in cash. It is my ethical duty to officially terminate our therapeutic relationship when it is reasonably clear the client is no longer beneficent, when services are no longer required, when counseling no longer serves the needs and/or interests of the client or when Dr Olushola Bakare, LMFT limits do not allow provision of further counseling services. It is the policy of Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT, that after a one-month consistent lapse of meeting with a client our professional relationship will be considered terminated. Dr Olushola Bakare, LMFT, will make an attempt to notify you of this change in status as soon as possible after the one-month period. It is my ethical duty to identify, be available, and care for current clients. This could possibly feel awkward for our relationship to end yet, is not meant to be discourteous in anyway.

Does the thought of therapy feel boring and pointless to you? Need someone who can help explain what is going on in you brain, how it impacts you, and practical ways to help deal with your challenges (anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, conflict, anger, addiction, men's issues, etc)? My name is Taylor, and I offer Neuroscience Informed Therapy that helps you become the meaningful person you desire to be. I am an integrative therapist, and like to use therapies like ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), which is the newer wave of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), to help you build a new relationship with your brain, nervous system, and internal world. I love working with adolescents, young adults/adults, and families. As a Christian and Clinical Therapist, I have a unique capacity to help people who come from a Christian background, as well as those that do not. Spirituality can be very beneficial in therapy, but not everyone wants it to be included. When we begin we can determine what's right for you in your journey. Let's meet up and see if we are a good fit for therapy! If we are, we will set up good goals, go after them, and when we reach those goals we will transition out of therapy. In general, people do not need therapy for their entire life. So let's figure out what we need to do to help you and go after it.
