Hello, I’m Wynda. For the past 20 years, I’ve helped clients of many ages and backgrounds make profound and lasting changes in their lives. I began my career in child welfare and developed extensive experience in working with women’s issues and all types of relationships. I’ve learned that my clients always have the answers within them and I’m just here to guide the way. Therapy is a journey of coming back to yourself, so even if you think you don’t know what you’re doing, you absolutely do. Together, we’ll conquer the barriers that are inhibiting your personal success.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

After explaining the therapy process and getting to know a little bit about your background, we’ll begin our work. It’s important for us to have open, honest conversation. If you feel we’re not a fit or you’d like to discuss my approach, let’s talk about it! This space is about you, no need to force our relationship.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My approach is humorous and relatable. I balance this with my extensive professional knowledge and great empathy I hold for all my clients.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with adult clients who are motivated to make changes in their life. While you won’t be forced to do anything you don’t want to, I believe that therapy can be a pleasant surprise when you open yourself up to it. I’m especially skilled in addressing pregnancy, postpartum concerns, relationships, and women’s issues

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

Using motivational interviewing and an empowering client approach, we go step by step to focus on individual tasks versus the lump sum thinking to increase confidence, self-leadership and internal motivation. Self doubt can be the primary reason behind stagnation. I'll help you move past that to accomplish your goals.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a form of talk therapy that I comingle with other therapeutic models to assist you with reframing “I can’t” statements into “I can” while we continually focus on your ability to resolve the presenting concern.
