Hello My name is Kianna and I have been working in the mental health field for more than 25 years. I attended undergrad at Colgate University where I studied Sociology and Biology. There I developed a passion for Mental Health and a thirst to understand why people do the things we do. I attended the Syracuse University School of Social Work and majored in Mental Health. I have worked with diverse populations of all ages since then and came to find that I enjoy working with people who have come from disadvantaged backgrounds, people of color, women, Autists, and persons living with Anxiety and Trauma of all kinds. Trauma comes in many forms and the abuser can be a member of your family, a stranger and even your society. As a Social Worker of color, I was drawn to becoming a therapist after my own struggle to find a therapist that looks like me. I want to dismantle the stigma that many communities carry about seeking help for mental challenges and show people that everyone can benefit from a better relationship with themselves.

Hi, I am Georgia and I am of Caribbean heritage. I initally began my career in technical problem-solving in the fields of Environmental Science and Engineering, but my deeper calling was always in helping people navigate their own challenges. While working as an engineer, I served my church community as a lay counselor and intercessor, which sparked a growing passion for more meaningful, people-centered work. That calling led me to pursue a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and I haven’t looked back since. Today, I serve as both a private practice clinician and a workplace mental health consultant and trainer. Welcome! I'm passionate about helping others find healing and wholeness. My desire is to help you know and understand yourself deeply, find healing from the past, and move from a place of "stuckness" to living a rich and meaningful life. With over 40 years' simultaneous experience as a therapist and social worker, I offer practice knowledge combined with working-class life experience. Your change goals will guide our work together. My job is to suggest different choices in the way you think and act in the areas of your life where you are experiencing discomfort. My style is a very warm yet direct one: Once you are comfortable with me, I won't hesitate to point-out ways in which you might unknowingly self sabotage or contribute to your stated problems. There will be alternatives suggested, and you are free to try-on new behavior patterns that align with your values and lifestyle. Change can be scary; it can also greatly improve your life's quality. For most of my career, I've offered counseling in-person while simultaneously working in social work, where I provided more concrete services. Now that I've made the decision to work from home and only part-time, I'm excited to solely focus on offering therapy services fully online.

Hi. I'm Steve. Do you ever wonder why, no matter how many different things you've tried, you fall back into old behaviors that hurt you and/or those you love? Do you wonder why your emotions take over and leave you feeling incapable or overwhelmed? Do your emotions get in the way of effectively communicating when it matters the most? We all face questions like this, and the most fulfilling part of my work is helping people like you find answers to those questions. I don’t have any “one-size-fits-all” solutions, but together we will work to identify what drives your responses and what you can do to make lasting changes. We will work to help you anticipate and prevent issues before they appear, to feel emotional intensity rising and calm it down, and to exit stressful situations before doing or saying something you’ll regret. I don’t believe that our worst moments define us. I DO believe that each of us is capable of overcoming past struggles and finding a new path. I look forward to working with you as you try to find yours.

You hold it together for everyone — at work, at home, in your relationships — but the weight of it is getting harder to carry. Maybe anxiety keeps your mind racing at 2 a.m., or you're stuck in patterns with substances or behaviors that started as coping but now feel like a trap. Maybe grief, trauma, or a painful chapter you thought you'd moved past keeps surfacing when you least expect it. I'm Rovin Chonielall, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Addiction Specialist with 15 years of experience helping adults find their footing when life feels unmanageable. I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction and recovery, and the kind of emotional exhaustion that builds up when you've been running on autopilot for too long. My approach is direct, holistic, and grounded in what actually works. I draw on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you build skills for managing intense emotions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge the thought patterns keeping you stuck, and Motivational Interviewing to help you connect with your own reasons for change — especially when motivation feels low. I also incorporate mindfulness and solution-focused techniques, because sustainable growth happens when you learn to be present with yourself, not just push through. What my clients tell me is that therapy with me feels different — honest without being harsh, structured without being rigid. I'm not going to just nod along. I'll meet you where you are, ask the questions that matter, and help you build a life that actually reflects who you want to be. If you're ready to stop going through the motions and start doing the real work, I'd like to help.

I'm a therapist who believes good therapy starts with feeling comfortable, not like you're sitting across from someone with a clipboard. I bring warmth, honesty, and a little casualness to our work together. I'm also neurodivergent myself, so I know firsthand what it's like to navigate a brain that works a little differently. That lived experience makes me a better therapist , not just a more empathetic one, but a more real one. I'm the kind of therapist who will laugh with you, be straight with you, and when you're ready, go to the deeper and harder places right alongside you. With experience spanning from early childhood all the way through older adulthood, I've had the privilege of working with people across every stage of life and across a wide range of needs. No matter where you're starting from, my goal is always the same : to meet you where you are and grow with you throughout the process.

As a neurodivergent Black woman living with a chronic illness and mother of three adult children, two of whom identify with the LGBTQ+ commmunity, I am always interested in the deeper question people carry about their lives. Many of the individuals I work with are thoughtful, capable people who have spent years showing up for others, meeting expectations, and doing what seemed like the responsible thing to do. At some point, though, many begin to notice a quiet sense that something no longer fits. My work centers around helping people slow down enough to understand what is actually happening beneath that feeling. Together we look at the patterns, experiences, and internal narratives that shape how you see yourself and the choices available to you. From that place, people often begin to rediscover a clearer sense of who they are and what direction their lives might take moving forward. I am especially drawn to working with adults navigating identity shifts, relationship transitions, and moments in life where the path forward is no longer obvious.

They do provide therapeutic support to clients and have been part of my practice for some time. I hold licenses in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida and specialty certification as a Certified Advanced Drug & Alcohol Counselor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I am a firm believer in everything that happens creates the person. I am a whole life counselor and work with people to explore what it would take to move past the difficult times in life. I take the time to get to know my clients and have many clients who have been with me for years. That doesn't mean someone will see me every week for the rest of their life. It means client know I am available when they have need. I do have clients who have seen me weekly for years not because they are dependent on me but because they have found benefit in processing their life regularly. I have had a successful personal practice for years and can offer clients the space and reverence to unpack the most unpleasant things to reorder them in a way they no longer can cause harm as they once did. There is no perfect childhood and it is likely families do the best they can and it may not have filled the needs of their child. I am happy to take as much time as needed to work through the problem as you understand it.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is skilled in numerous modalities that includes both EMDR and sensorimotor therapies. My specialties go to the root of the problem and finds the silver thread or in therapeutic terms the neurobiological network that connects the negative beliefs inherent in all the trauma the patient experienced. In addition to my trauma training I earned my RPT (registered play therapist) and I have extensive knowledge of child development and counseling children and adolescents. I am willing to counsel adolescents online but children younger than 12 must be seen in person.

From day one, I create a space where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and safe to be themselves. I combine deep empathy with clinical insight, allowing me to connect with clients on a human level while still providing thoughtful, evidence-based care. I listen carefully—not just to what is said, but to what’s underneath—and I help clients put words to experiences they may have carried alone for a long time.

I am a compassionate, trauma-informed therapist who works with clients of all ages and stages of life. I believe therapy should be individualized because no two people, experiences, or goals are the same. My approach is person-centered, supportive, and collaborative, meeting you where you are while helping you move toward where you want to be. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Together, we will identify your goals, explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build practical skills, and work toward meaningful change. I am empathetic and encouraging, while also providing guidance and accountability when needed. My training includes CBT, EMDR, DBT, ACT, somatic approaches, allowing me to tailor therapy to your individual needs. My goal is to help you recognize your strengths, build resilience, and work toward becoming the version of yourself you want to be.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
