I will help you navigate anxiety, grief, emotional regulations for long term growth.
First session
My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling welcomed, comfortable, heard, and confident that you’re in the right space. We’ll explore what brought you to therapy, your concerns, and your goals. You’ll have the opportunity to get to know me and my approach as we begin building a trusting, supportive therapeutic relationship.
Strengths
With 25+ years in mental health, I bring empathy, authenticity, and a nonjudgmental approach. I listen attentively, help clients recognize patterns, and connect past experiences to present challenges. I offer support while gently challenging clients to take an active role in their emotional growth.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is an adult navigating anxiety, emotional challenges, and thought patterns rooted in past experiences or recurring cycles. They seek to build self growth , self-worth, emotional regulation, and personal growth. They value a collaborative therapeutic relationship and are willing to embrace meaningful change, even when the process feels challenging. They are open to self-reflection and committed to doing the work between sessions to support lasting change.
Origin story
My path to becoming a mental health provider began when I realized nursing was not my true calling. I felt drawn toward helping people emotionally through vulnerable moments in their lives. After completing my bachelor’s degree, I attended New York University, where the strong clinical training deepened my passion for therapy and evidence-based care. Over the years, I have worked with children, families, and vulnerable populations through grief support, depression parenting groups, emotional regulation and behavioral support. My passion is helping individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, intrusive thoughts, low self-esteem leading to healthier coping skills and emotional wellness.
Ongoing work together
Our ongoing work will be collaborative, supportive, and focused on your goals. Together, we’ll explore patterns, build emotional regulation skills, and develop practical strategies you can apply in everyday life. You’ll recognize progress through greater self-awareness, healthier responses to challenges, improved confidence, and meaningful changes in how you think, feel, and respond.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand how your thoughts influence your emotions and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful thought patterns, explore how they affect your daily life, and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding to challenges. My goal is to help you build practical skills that support emotional balance and lasting change.
