Our thoughts, feelings, and expectations can be so overwhelming that they become obstacles to making decisions and living our lives to the fullest. If you are experiencing one of life’s unexpected challenges and would like to explore your thoughts and feelings in a private, safe, and comfortable environment tailored to help increase your awareness and ability to work through challenges, I am here for you. I view therapy as a safe space for processing life experiences, emotions, thoughts, and trauma in order to achieve one’s goals and necessary growth. My goal as a therapist is to collaborate with you to understand your thought processes, address barriers to wellness, and identify ways in which you can achieve your goals. I believe that clients are the experts of their own lives; however, sometimes need an outside perspective to help re-frame our thinking.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During your initial session with me, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment where you feel safe to share your emotions and concerns. We will start by discussing what brought you to therapy and any specific issues or goals you may currently have. My main goal during the first session is to begin building a rapport and gain a clear understanding of how together we can help you begin your journey toward positive change.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

Using cognitive behavioral, person-centered, solution-focused, acceptance and commitment, and cognitive processing therapy, I will help you process your emotions, thoughts, and experiences that prevent you from functioning at your best. I will help you to analyze your life experiences and develop skills that will allow you to cope and better address the challenges that life brings.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I meet clients where they are at, helping identify their goals and supporting them in reaching these goals. I am a collaborative therapist and enjoy creating a safe, compassionate space for my clients to heal.

My client focus is individual sessions with adults who are experiencing anxiety, obsessive/ compulsive, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem, stress management, and trauma.
