New to Grow
Are you struggling to manage your inner feelings and all of the stressors in your life? You can overcome your obstacles with the right therapist. I enjoy working with people who, like myself, are trying to face the many feelings that are sometimes difficult to stay present with. I'm a License Professional Counselor with a specialty in addiction counseling with over 10 years of experience working with many populations.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
We'll start with some introductions. I’ll share a bit about myself, my approach to therapy, and how I can support you on your journey. I’ll invite you to discuss what brings you here. Whether you have specific issues in mind or just want to explore your thoughts and feelings, this is your opportunity to express what you hope to achieve. We’ll discuss the importance of confidentiality and the boundaries that guide our work together. Your privacy is paramount, and I want you to feel secure in sharing openly. I may ask some questions to gather information about your history, current situation, and any relevant experiences. This helps me understand you better and tailor our sessions to your needs. I’ll explain how our sessions will generally flow, including the methods and techniques I might use. It’s important for you to know how we’ll work together. Feel free to ask any questions you might have about the process or my therapeutic approach. Your comfort and understanding are vital.
