We all need space to prioritize our thoughts and feelings, to say what we need to say out loud, to someone who will not judge us for how we think and feel. Oftentimes, we cannot expect the people in our lives to be impartial or unbiased. Sometimes the people in our lives are far too involved in what causes us to need this space, to process our trauma, and they might not realize why we are anxious or depressed. In the therapeutic relationship, it is all about what you want and need. I will listen and ask thoughtful questions and help you recognize patterns and make connections. Hi. My name is Christine Toler, Chris, and I earned my Ed.S and LPC- MHSP in the state of Tennessee, and New Jersey. I have been licensed as a Professional Counselor since 2010, and a School Counselor since 2006. I started being a believer in therapy when it first helped me over forty years ago, (as a child). I thought what a wonderful way to get to the root of the problem... and get rid of it. Since then I have been working on myself as a client as well as acquiring a licensure to help others, including teens, adults and families. I focus on solution based and non-judgmental cognitive therapy. I believe understanding a problem is not the end of the work. The action we take to support a positive change... is what changes lives. And while I have experienced that in some very important areas... I continue to grow... daily. I choose to be transparent about that because I believe it is important to the work that my clients know I understand how it feels to be in their chair. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, doubt, guilt, grief, or all of the above, I believe I can help you.

When I was eight years old, I remember begging my mother to let me start an advice column in the local newspaper. She did not, but that never stopped me from listening to my friends around me and trying to help them solve their problems. I knew I wanted to turn this into a career! In learning about what therapists do, I knew this was the right move for me! While therapists aren’t advice givers, I absolutely love being a soundboard for individuals and helping them live their best lives; lives they often never thought they could live. Choosing to get started with a therapist can be awkward and daunting. I try to make that process less uncomfortable and feel like not another "thing on the to do list" but something rather you can enjoy. I have worked with all ages, and all walks of life. I believe that we have the answers and solutions within ourselves, sometimes we just cannot access them, or we get stuck in what I like to call "ruts" and roadblocks. I also believe we as people are inevitably strong, and sometimes just need someone to believe in us and remind us of our strengths and potential.

I aim to provide a safe space for clients, couples and families alike to seek, ask questions and learn more about who they are and what they are capable of becoming. It is my role to provide a listening ear and help clients search within to come up with their own answers to change toward a happier, more carefree life. I strive for strong rapport and full disclosure. Once the working relationship has been established the possibilities towards change become limitless. Some areas that I have worked with include, self-awareness and self-esteem strengthening; mindfulness skills for life's anxieties and stressors as well as managing our emotions and being able to apply emotional intelligence to all areas of our lives. The goal is for you to become the best version of yourself.

Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist currently accepting new clients to meet for 60-minute therapy sessions weekly or biweekly. I have been working in the field for over 10 years, dedicating myself to learning how to help people navigate difficult life situations and manage mental illness using evidence-based practices that connect people back to their values. I focus more on how we can change our behavior; nevertheless, I don't underestimate the importance of connecting to our communities and fostering resilience through togetherness. Let's work together to build a path toward a healthier, more fulfilled version of yourself, reconnecting you with yourself and those around you!
