What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we can start on introducing ourselves and discussion what brings you to therapy. How can I assist with some of the specific difficulties you may be experiencing? This will help me identify what I can do as a clinician to create a plan for us to follow-up in future sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with individuals for the past 10 years who have struggled with their mental health and substance-use difficulties has made me a better provider. I also feel that helping individuals during moments of crisis helps their realize their self-worth and strengths.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with clients who identify as LGBTQ+, persons of color, have difficulty managing stress and anxiety, and individuals who strive to work on themselves to increased their sense of self-awareness and accomplish their goals.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

It helps individuals change some negative thoughts and/or behaviors significantly impacting their daily functions. It is also a goal-oriented approach to help individuals achieve some goals they have.

Motivational Interviewing

Strength-Based
