First session

A well-structured therapy session is designed to enhance performance by building a strong therapeutic alliance, gaining clarity around the client’s goals, and implementing targeted strategies for sustainable change. By increasing self-awareness, challenging limiting patterns, and sharpening coping skills, clients are better equipped to thrive under pressure, whether in their careers, relationships, or athletic performance. Each session is tailored to support therapeutic progress, with outcomes including enhanced emotional regulation, improved focus, enhanced insight and adaptive behavioral patterns. Ultimately, therapy becomes a strategic space for clients to unlock their potential and lead more balanced, empowered, and high-performing lives.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I offer an integrative and client-centered approach rooted in Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Schema Therapy. I work collaboratively to help individuals understand and challenge unhelpful patterns and build on personal strengths to promote resiliency. My goal is to create a supportive environment where growth feels possible and sustainable.

Schema Therapy

Schema Therapy blends cognitive-behavioral techniques with elements of attachment theory, psychodynamic therapy, and experiential methods. The goal is to identify and transform early maladaptive schemas, self-defeating beliefs and behaviors, by meeting core emotional needs in healthier more adaptive ways.

I had my first session with Sandra and it was great she’s very direct and kind. Also does a very good job at explaining what methods she wants to use in therapy as well not just a brief description and immediately diving in.

I’ve been meeting with Sandra a little over a year now and I can’t say enough great things about her approach. She’s always able to help me look at situations in a different view and gives me advice on how to work on things I don’t feel confident in. Her knowledge in grief and depression counseling is helping me cope and recognize when I may need a little extra support.
