So great to meet you. My name is Kim, and I would love to work with you to solve and work through things that are keeping you up at night and things that are stopping you from reaching your full potential. Are you feeling sad, anxious, stressed or "fed up"? Many people are feeling just like you. Come and share those feelings and find ways to deal with the stressors that are holding you back. Over the past 18 years, I have worked with people from every walk of life who struggled with a large array of obstacles and together we were able to work with them in an enlightening, safe and positive space.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will get to know one another. I will ask a lot of questions to get to know you better.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I enjoy working with adults of all ages and I am often told that I am a "good listener". Focusing on building on someone's strengths and helping them see their full potential is what makes strength-based therapy my specialty. It is easy for me to see the good in someone and to help them see the good in themselves.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I like to focus on clients (women) ages 18-35 who are having relationship problems with family, friends, or partners and are struggling with adjusting to changes and transitions in their lives (new jobs, new relationships, new mothers), new school).

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

I enjoy helping clients identify and utilize their strengths to their advantage. This helps them to overcome any problem in their way.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

As a therapist, I utilize solution-focused brief treatment to help clients manage and resolve issues they are trying to overcome. Therapy does not have to be a long process but help can also be achieved in 2-6 sessions. The client can choose what feels best for them.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients see how their behaviors and actions are connected and to help them strive toward happiness and strength.

Supportive

Supportive therapy is based on focusing the session around the client. I utilize active listening, encouragement, and support to help clients excel in their journey toward contentment.

Eclectic

I strive to use a method that is an individual fit for the client. At times, this may mean blending a variety of styles.
