I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), CEO & Founder of Breakthrough Healing Space Therapy LLC, with specialized training in perinatal mental health, depression, anxiety, trauma-informed care, and parenting support. I specialize working with individuals navigating life transitions, those coping with anxiety, depression, stress, or unresolved trauma—who are looking for a safe, affirming space to heal, grow, feel understood, rebuild confidence, and learn practical tools to move forward.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my goal is to create a welcoming and supportive space where you feel comfortable sharing what brings you to therapy. We'll talk about your goals, explore what’s been challenging, and discuss any questions or concerns you have about the therapy process. I’ll ask about your history, current stressors, and what you hope to gain from our work together—but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. This session is about building trust and beginning to understand your unique story, at your pace.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is creating a warm, culturally affirming space where clients feel truly seen and heard. I integrate evidence-based approaches like CBT, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness with deep respect for each client’s lived experience. Clients often share that they appreciate my calm, grounding presence and the balance I strike between compassion and practical tools for change. I'm committed to meeting you where you are, helping you move toward clarity, healing, and lasting emotional growth.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals navigating life transitions, anxiety, trauma, or relationship challenges who are ready to engage in meaningful therapy. I specialize in working with adults—especially those experiencing perinatal changes, identity shifts, grief, or emotional overwhelm—who are seeking a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore their experiences. Whether you’re managing the complexities of new parenthood, healing from trauma, depression or feeling stuck in patterns of anxiety or self-doubt, I offer a collaborative, compassionate approach grounded in evidence-based practices. I particularly welcome clients who value insight, skill-building, and a therapeutic relationship that honors their cultural identity and lived experience.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop practical strategies to shift them, leading to more positive emotional and behavioral outcomes. I tailor CBT to each client's unique needs, offering a supportive and collaborative space to build insight and lasting change.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

I approach therapy with deep respect for each client’s cultural background, values, and lived experiences. I strive to create a safe, inclusive space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood within the context of their unique identity. I recognize how culture, race, ethnicity, gender, and systemic factors impact mental health, and I integrate this awareness into our work together to provide compassionate, affirming care.

Compassion Focused

In my practice, I use Compassion-Focused Therapy to help clients develop a kinder, more supportive relationship with themselves. This approach is especially helpful for those struggling with self-criticism, shame, or past trauma. Together, we work on building inner compassion, emotional resilience, and self-acceptance, creating a foundation for healing and lasting change.

Interpersonal

I use Interpersonal Therapy to help clients explore how their relationships and communication patterns impact their emotional well-being. We focus on improving current relationships, navigating life transitions, and addressing interpersonal conflicts or social isolation. By strengthening connection and communication skills, clients can experience meaningful changes in both their mood and relationships.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate mindfulness-based therapy to help clients develop greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations in the present moment. Through practices like mindful breathing, grounding, and meditation, clients learn to respond to stress and emotional challenges with clarity and calm. This approach supports emotional regulation, reduces anxiety, and fosters a deeper connection to self.
