New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps people move through the moments that shake their footing—losses, transitions, anxiety, trauma, and everything in between. My style is straightforward, warm, and rooted in real skill-building, not jargon or empty platitudes. I use a blend of CBT, DBT, and solution-focused strategies to help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface and create changes that actually last. If you want therapy that’s honest, practical, and centered on you gaining real control over your life, we’ll work well together.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, you can expect a real conversation, not an interrogation or a clipboard routine. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been carrying, and what you want to see change, but we move at your pace and stay focused on what feels most pressing. By the end of our first session, you’ll have a clearer sense of what’s going on beneath the surface, what our work will look like, and a few concrete steps you can start using right away.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My strongest assets as a therapist are clarity, steadiness, and the ability to cut through the overwhelm quickly. I’m direct without being harsh, and I help clients understand the patterns driving their anxiety, depression, or relationship struggles in a way that finally makes sense. What stands out in my approach is how quickly we get to the heart of the issue and start building real skills—whether that’s emotional regulation, boundary-setting, or shifting long-standing thought patterns. Clients walk away with tools they can use the same day, and over time, they see themselves becoming more grounded, confident, and in control of their lives.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I’m a strong fit for people who are going through major life transitions, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, or trying to rebuild after trauma or toxic relationships. I work well with clients who want honesty, clarity, and practical tools—not sugar-coating or vague advice. If you’re motivated to understand yourself more deeply, ready to break old patterns, and want a therapist who will challenge you while staying steady and grounded.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients see the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We identify the patterns that fuel anxiety, depression, or self-doubt, then challenge the ones that no longer serve them. The goal is to build new habits that make life feel more manageable and grounded.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
DBT gives my clients tools to handle intense emotions without spiraling. We work on distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and communication skills so they can respond instead of react. Over time, they learn how to stay steady even when life feels chaotic.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
In solution-focused work, I highlight what’s already working and build from there. Clients learn how to shift their attention from the problem to their strengths and possibilities. It’s a forward-moving approach that creates momentum and real, visible change.
