My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I implement Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as a form of psychotherapy that aims to reduce symptoms of various mental health conditions, primarily depression, PTSD and anxiety disorders. Cognitive behavioral therapy focuses on challenging and changing cognitive distortions (such as thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes) and their associated behaviors to improve emotional regulation and develop personal coping skills.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I implement Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) for my clients, as it is especially effective for people who have difficulty managing and regulating their emotions.

Psychoeducation

I implement parenting education to assist parents/guardians with managing emotional and behavioral challenges with their children.

Family Therapy

I implement Family therapy for my clients which is a type of treatment designed to help with issues that specifically affect families' mental health and functioning. It can help individual family members build stronger relationships, improve communication, and manage conflicts within the family system. By improving how family members interact and relate to one another, family therapy can foster change in close relationships.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I implement Mindfulness therapy which combines mindfulness practices with therapeutic techniques to help my clients become more aware of the present moment. This approach reduces stress and anxiety by encouraging non-judgmental acceptance of thoughts and emotions.
